on Friday, 10/7 I asked to speak to the manager at the Marina Village branch about my ATM card not working in Europe.i was approached by a surly female who apparently was the acting manager She did introduce herself but for reference, she was a somewhat overweight Asian with a ring in her lip who immediately told that the probl was with me because I did not notify WF to register both my debit and ATM cards. I was not told to register both cards and fortunately my wife had a debit card or we would have been in Europe for 5 weeks without access to funds. when I asked why I needed. both cards anyway she was not able to offer a intelligent answer so I gave her my ATM card to shred and she walked away with her attitude. if it wasn't such a hassle, I as tempted t cancel all four of our accounts.

There are rare occasions when you need to go to a bank branch given the easy availability of ATMs and internet banking. But when I needed a service at the branch, they were not available. I tried to make an appointment for a wire transfer and called twice or perhaps three times. Nobody picked up the phone. I contacted my personal banker from Wells Fargo and she also was unable to contact the Marina Village branch. She ended up helping me getting an appointment at the South Shore Branch which worked fine, but did cost me additional time for driving.Pretty strange that a Bank Branch would not answer their phones. Are they really that busy / understaffed?

WARNING WARNING WARNING Jason Hanigan has only 20 years experience working at Wells Fargo. The manager and the assistant manager are both absolutely BRAIN-DEAD. If you need to use Wells Fargo Bank make sure you stay away from this Alameda, California branch. You cannot trust them to know what is necessary to perform a simple transaction. Once you correct them they claim to have 20 years experience and send you on a wild goose chase. All you end up accomplishing is confirming they are stupid and wrong... After 20 years of experience they don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. Then they turn obstinate because they've been caught being stupid. I asked them to make a call to their headquarters to check what was needed and they refused... They gave me the number of customer service so I could work through their stupidity. I sat down in their branch and called customer service. After 20 minutes on hold I was able to reach someone that agreed with me and looked up the needed document in mere moments. If I did not logically know they already had the document on file I would have needed to make an appointment and pay an attorney to obtain a copy of the document just so I could walk the document into this unmanaged Wells Fargo branch. This branch is dysfunctional. Using my phone on speaker I had their headquarters talk to the manager and after a long while they were made to understand that they already had the document on file and that I have already provided 100% of the necessary information to immediately release the funds. Instead of cutting a cashiers check the manager refused to do so requiring me to make an appointment on another day TO GO THROUGH THE SAME PROCESS. Customers wait in line to get cashiers checks everyday. When I first walked in I was not expecting to leave with a check... I did expect precise correct information on what needed to happen to release the funds... When they demanded an unreasonable document I knew for sure they were meatheads. As it turns out ALL I needed to provide was 2 forms of I.D. which I carry in my wallet everyday. These clowns are blithering idiots. The amount is minuscule in comparison to the unnecessary hassle these clods are inflicting on me.

Made a 2 pm appointment with this branch today. I waited for 45 mins before I left because supposedly they were "backed up ." Listen, if you knew you would be busy at 2 pm, why did you let your customers make a 2 pm appointment? 3 other customers experienced the same thing as I did simultaneously. At least the branch manager was nice enough to keep saying "thank you for your patience." I appreciated that but being nice wouldn't get the work done unfortunately. I had to take an hour of my own PTO to make this appointment. It was a complete waste of my time!

Walked into the door and was given the worst attitude ever. The customer service sucks. They are not there to help but make excuses not to help. 20+ years of customer ship meant nothing to them. The mean banker attitude is mind blowing. I sat and waiting 40 min for a manager who was not helpful either

I went to the Otis dr location today, big mistake. So I went to the Marina Village location after work today, Arthur jumped up and helped me as soon as he saw me walk in. I was in and out in less than 5 mins with excellent customer service. Thank you Arthur!!

September 2016: Improperly repossessing service members' cars The Department of Justice slapped Wells Fargo's wrist for improperly repossessing the cars of members of the military. The bank did not limit interest rates to 6% (as is required by law), failed to tell courts the borrowers were active-duty when it asked for evictions, and failed to obtain court papers prior to repossessing cars. The bank ended up paying $20 million in fines to the OCC and made restitution of over $10 million to wronged service members.

Wells Fargo itself can be iffy and banks can be a very stressful place at times however this branch is wonderful (and WAY more helpful than the Otis branch in my opinion). I came in needing to stop payment on some cashiers checks. I had so much anxiety regarding whether I'd be able to do so and if I'd be able to get my money back In a timely fashion. Kieth and Arthur were beyond helpful and I cannot express my gratitude enough. The process was long we had to call the customer service line, fill out and notarize paperwork, yada yada yada but they did not complain about helping me one bit they just powered through it with a good attitude and got it done for me. They were able to stop payment for me and gave me the money back right away. After being so stressed out going into the bank I left with no burdens and had peace of mind about everything. Again thank you Keith and Arthur so much you guys really turned a horrible situation around for me, you two are awesome.

I was not greeted when I first walked in but my teller (Annie) quickly changed my view of this location how she was so bubbly and full of joy. Thank you
