ProsThe store itself isn't bad, and is your typical Target.ConsToo many employees do not speak English. This problem is huge if you are shopping in the early hours and need assistance. This store relies way too much on self checkout. Lack of professionalism amongst employees - saggy pants, on cellphones ignoring customers, having personal conversations between employees instead of offering assistance. Cashiers may not smile, thank you, or acknowledge you.Stock is often limited or not available.

Some clerks are very good, however someone are very lazy standing there with nothing to do, she notices you need help, she just tunes her back towards you???

Living in the Bay Area, I think I prefer this Target over any anywhere else. For the most part, it's organized, and I'm able to find more employees if I need help. I like the selection, and they categorize all their items. I also feel like that I can find what I want. I had been going to the Emeryville location, but I like how not a lot of things are on the floor or missing from packaging.

This used to be an amazing location but things have gotten pretty awful over the last few years. Lines are so long it's not worth completing a purchase. Armed guards and everything in hygiene is still locked up. More and more unstable people coming into the store and causing issues. It's sad really.

Target has its moments with some fantastic deals that are hard to pass up. However, I've noticed that a lot of their items tend to be pricier compared to their competitors. It's disappointing when you find similar products at Walmart or even online on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. So, while I appreciate the occasional bargains, I often find myself thinking twice before making a purchase here.

Location, great. Staff, decent. Products, great. Store, clean. Bathroom? Grooossssss!! For this area you would expect a tidy bathroom and this is the total opposite. Open beer can, paper everywhere, no paper towels and it smelled terrible. I've never seen a Target bathroom so disgusting!!! The lines were all long but they moved fairly quickly.

Get me out of here. When you have 20 people in line at every register and at least 30 at the self check-out, for Pete's sake, open the register at Guest Services!Had there been a line at Guest Services, I'd understand why they couldn't have two cashiers handling the overflow but no one was over there, just two employees chatting. That was my cue to walk over and ask them to ring me up. I felt 50 eyes on me wondering how I finessed a speedy getaway. All you have to do .. is ask nicely.

This Target is located in the Alameda Landing Shopping Center, and its bigger than most Targets I've been too!!Now, Target is not as inexpensive as it used to be, but you can find some good quality things here. This place is very clean and organized.I've been here multiple times for various things, the parking lot is plenty big enough also! The last time I was here I had to return something and that process was very quick and easy, this store is a nice addition here!!

I came here yesterday night (1/12/23) with my gf and the cashier Eli was beyond rude. I don't know if he was having a bad day or needed a break or whatever but he shouldn't be in customer service or working at Target. For one he didn't say a word the entire time he was checking us out. We greeted him with " Hey how's your night going" He didn't acknowledge it. He just started scanning our items huffing & puffing.. Then we noticed he double scanned an item & pointed it out.. He huffed and puffed still not saying a word & fixed it. Never read us our total or said a word the entire transaction. He proceeded to snatch our receipt out of the machine and pushed our bag towards us. We still said " Hope you have a great night" and didn't receive a word back.. if you don't like working customer service just quit, There's no reason an employee needs to be that rude to a paying customer. The least you can do as a cashier is say hello.. the bare minimum.

If you're a person of color don't come here if you don't want to be belittlettled and given dirty looks from the people in the store very white pro-dominantsnd being in this store made me feel very anxious DO NOT GET SERVED BY THE ASIAN GUY WORKING IN THE PHARMACY, Last time I checked working in retail no matter the situation you always need to supply service with a smile, and yes he might've been wearing a mask but his body language was completely off.

Target, or should I say "Tarjay" Quality/Quantity - Good, especially if you like both brand name and private label items. Atmosphere - One of the better stocked Targets. Employees were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Plus there were plenty of employees, they outnumber the customers, LOL. Getting ready for the holiday season. Plenty of parking. Open 7 days a week, but currently on holiday hours, see picture. Normal business hours are 8am to 10pm. Service - 5 stars, again one of the better run Targets. Well stocked, friendly employees, etc. What more can you ask for? Price - Reasonable priced, especially for what you get. But not as inexpensive as Walmart. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1962 (1902 corporation founded), and as the 8th largest retailer in the US. 2000 - Renamed company to Target Corporation. 2015 - CVS acquired Targets pharmacies.

It never fails when I buy something and they advertise buy 3 and get a $5 gift card you get to the register and it's fraud. The person at self che k out can see that I'm supposed to get a gift card but all she could say is I don't know why it's not working. Not surprised at all Target has become the new Walmart. Maybe I'll go to Walgreens at least they honor their pricing.

As Bay Area targets go, this is one of the better ones. Unlike Emeryville or San Francisco you might not witness a shoplifting. But just like those other stores, you will find commando like security standing outside the door checking their Facebook on their smartphone. I certainly hope Target isn't spending much money on these security guards. This store is mostly clean and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. At the checkout lines while I was waiting for self checkout, one of the cashiers politely came up to me and offered that I go to her aisle.

Not quite sure what's going on...maybe it's the pandemic/Covid time that's causing empty shelves, but....ALL THE TIME?!?!? I end up at target multiple times a week, maybe twice at most and everytime I look up something on the app to see if it's in store (which says it is), I come here and to my surprise, the things I look for that say in stock, are in fact not in stock. Employees usually are just standing around, things are a mess, the self checkout is wrapped around crazy long with always maybe 4 actual checkout stands with cashiers. Not understanding what has come of this target, but it's pretty disappointing.
