I did my test a month ago, still do not get any results neither me nor my doctor. Tried to reach anybody over the phone, but you can’t pass this auto voice. What is the lab??

Everything is very outdated, dirty, and most of the staff is rude or undertrained. They make DMV look good.
Results are taking forever and their app to track it is also pretty bad.
Edit: 10+ days and they still can't find the results.

Staff very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. My only complaints about Quest are that there are no weekend hours ( listing for Alameda hours is wrong; I recently reported it), no evening appts and few early AM appts . Those are real shortcomings, but staff at lab site is pleasant and helpful.

Sabrina was fantastic! She handled a crowded waiting room with courtesy and a sense of humor, and she was very accommodating in managing my anxiety. AND, it was painless...Thank you, Sabrina!

If I could find a way to give this place negative stars I would. What a nightmare. I sat in the lobby for nearly an hour before a woman came out from the back to talk to me to tell me they didn’t have time for me. I was one of two people sitting in the lobby, they didn’t have any patients, and their lunch break that is posted on the door wasn’t for another 45 minutes. She then started to berate a nurse who came in for her own blood draw (who had an appointment) until she was in tears, repeatedly telling her “I don’t care. I really don’t care. I don’t care about you.” Disgusting behavior. It was the most abysmal care environment I’ve ever seen - and I spent three months basically living in hospitals this past year. Save yourself. Don’t go here - I’d totally unsurprised to find out this where people develop secondary infections. There are poor standards and low standards. And then there is whatever this hellscape is. It’s that bad.

This place suck. There is no personal to help. Small waiting room with no water for the guest. Go with Lab Corp way better.

There are public toilets better served and with better rating.
Unfortunately probably no manager will read this review and try to correct anything.. just like with the rest of the comments. I strongly recommend to avoid this place at all costs. Rudeness and lack of any professional anything.
Since I live in Alameda I sometimes try to ignore what a horrible Quest office is there and how unbelievably rude the workers there are towards the patients and keep on getting back ... A place with a constant rating of 2 points over many years would have alarmed someone if anyone at Quest cared about this.

I'm here for pre-surgery bloodwork. I fasted. I'm in am overcrowded waiting room in the Alameda location. Not enough chairs for people in this sad, generic waiting room with the television on way too loud. The saddest part is that there are no humans to check you in. You do it on line or at a kiosk. I already hate this experience and they haven't even seen me yet. Thank God I only need to use them one time.

The blood draw technician was superbly gracious, professional, and patient with our client. She was gentle and communicative with the client to keep him at ease.
The issue I have with the service received, was the impersonal nature of booking appointments, rescheduling and the lack of any human support in contending with changes, challenges and missed appointment.
I felt that the clinic which we were originally scheduled for the blood draw was understaffed (no receptionist) to handle any hiccups. The same was true at the second location. The level of communication at the first location by one of the technicians, left me confused as to 'why' we were unable to shift our missed appt to a walk-in appt. Instead, we were forced to reschedule the appt for 2 hours later and in another city 21 minutes away by car.
Given the lack of human support, had our client NOT been accompanied, the necessary 'blood draw' would not have happened, thereby setting up a domino effect of negative outcomes.

I had an amazing time. I came early today On Thursday afternoon. There was pleasant music and an interesting documentary on the TV. It was nice and clean. Very easy to check in. I made my appointment online through the app. All I had to do was scan my phone with the QRC and scan my ids and I had a seat and I was seen 10 minutes early. All the phlebotomist there were really nice and very pretty.
My phlebotomist was especially pretty She had very long eyelashes , lovely brown eyes and beautiful hair. She was like the princess of phlebotomy. She was super sweet and super nice ! It was amazing. I should have gotten her name but she was working and working it on the 7th of March.
I don’t know. Maybe it was just a lucky day. She asked me if I got nervous about seeing blood. And I told her how I used to work in film and set production and I would always try to match the quality of blood realistically. I mostly do sci-fi and horror.
But It was such a nice lovely appointment. It was quick. If you go on the website, I think it’s a little bit easier if you sign up online. The websites glitchy give it a few minutes. But as soon as I save my appointment, I received text messages and emails, and I also signed up for trials. I hope next time I come back my experience is just as pleasant as this one.

I have been going here for twenty years. No more. Service is terrible.
