If you are over 50, or a "real senior", the Mastick Senior Center is a great place for a variety of activities. I, personally, love Line Dancing, Zumba and Yoga. Come and make friends while staying healthy.

I love love this little thrift shop, and am so glad it has reopened, albeit with limited hours. As of June 30, 2021 they are open Tuesdays 10 am-3 pm, and they accept donations Thursdays 930 am-230 pm :) EDIT: as of August 18, 2021 they are also open Saturdays! Drop offs remain Thursdays only.

Mastick Senior Center is a part of Alameda Recreation & Parks. it services persons 50 years of age+. it offers literally 100+ classes for seniors, some free, some fee'd. resembles cirrculum of junior colleges but on Mastick premises. media room, lunch program, bingo, classrooms, library, social room, +lots of activities listed on their website. lots of parking in their private lot. definitely a spot for people who need resources. membership is free. doubtful if i will participate. already busy presently. definitely will channel my donations here.....
