I'm not even sure this is a motel for travelers anymore. It appears to have been turned into a medical rehabilitation facility judging from the number of Cardea Health vans and also fire department/ambulance calls there are. The outside of the building looks completely dilapidated, and the pool is drained so clearly the photos posted here are old.

Cardea Health now runs a medical program for the homeless through the hotel. There are loud, obnoxious people in the parking lot at all hours, often smoking.

My Uhual truck was stolen from their parking lot.I booked a room specifically because they claim to have free private parking. I checked in on 7/22/1022 at 3pm. I parked the Uhual truck 4 parking spaces away from the front door.I asked the man at the front desk if my Uhual was safe where I parked it.He said “Yes. It will be fine”It wasn’t.Inside was $43,000 worth of audio equipment and personal items like my fathers four Purple Heart and Prisoner Of War medals.Police contacted the owner for surveillance video. According to police, the owner claims their cameras do not record their parking area.

Good experience! It's not the most luxurious but it's super quiet when I visited. Walking to the water at night without seeing another person is a nice retreat from the busy city. The rooms are OK! AC works great. Showers work and are pretty clean.

This place was just OK. I arrived on Sunday afternoon and was told check-in would be at 3pm. No problem. When I came back at 3pm, rooms were not yet available and I was told that folks were checking out late. I was given a room about an hour later than promised. The room had a strange smell. It's supposedly non-smoking, but I'm pretty sure folks had been smoking in there. The location is very convenient and the views from the rooms facing the water are very nice. That said, I'm not sure I'd recommend this place. It's fine in a pinch though.

☠️One of the worst hotels? I ever been in my life. I made reservations and when I got there they told me that everything was booked up I even showed him? the email telling him that I had reservations the man told me I can cancel I was mad? because I had made these plans over a week ago and had kept calling to make sure make sure that everything Was confirmed. The rooms were dirty, curtains were badly stained and the bathroom didn't even have a doorknob. This places trash?.I made sure to put do not disturb sign on my door before I left and when I came back I had money? missing. I know someone went in the room because I put a toothpick on top of the door. And when I came back it was on the floor. Thank God it was only $60 that they took I confronted them about it and they said they don't know?♂️ who went inside the room. They advertise free breakfast in the morning but they do not? have it, they advertise having a pool, no pool. Is most of the lamps? weren't working. The man Helping me was so rude. It's false advertising because it says $90 but charge a 139 dollars. It's Better to spend an extra $50 get a better hotel I stayed here and went to San Francisco and had a good time it sucks at this place gave me such bad service and the rooms were dirty we'll never come here again. Would rather spend more money at a better hotel.

Reserved a standard king room, but was given an accessible queen. No door on the bathroom, so no privacy for my teen or I when using shower or toilet. Room very dated, not remodeled like photos. When I checked in, he said my reservation was for tomorrow. I showed my email confirmation for today. He said we have 1 room left. Entry door is glass & all can see in unless curtains totally closed, but you can’t leave without opening curtain, so all can see your possessions when you go to dinner or out for the day.

Stay out of this place! The front desk woman called Ryder yelled at me like crazy, banged my door at 9:30 am and threaten to call the police to force me out of the room, because she didn't agree with the person in the front desk that the night before told me I could stay in the same room. It's THEIR communication misunderstanding and not the guest's fault, so instead of apologizing, this woman went CRAZY! I had to leave before the police would arrive. So much for hospitality!

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. I booked this hotel because we were staying over 4th of July and it was by the water which would make it easy to see the fireworks. When I first walked in I noticed that there was no water in the pool. Now I LOVE swimming and I was quite sad about this. When I asked the front desk about it they said that there was a crack in the bottom of the pool. But over my stay I did not see them even trying to fix it. When I walked into the room, it was nice and had good decorations. But the bathroom door was see-through so you could see everything someone was doing in there. Also apparently they only have one housekeeper who can't get to all the rooms. So our room did not get cleaned for the four days we stayed here. I will not be staying here again.

we stay here 1-2 x a year to go to the Alameda Antique Faire. it's never been super clean, ie real water glass with someone's lip stick on it ( not mine or my husbands.. kidding) but this visit it was especially poor in cleanliness; floors with spilled things, dirt, dead bugs. stained sheets, dirty microwave, black mold in room 108. we always book in advance, ask for rooms facing harbor upper rooms( 2 story) a month in advance, confirmed our room location and they gave our room to someone else. We still got the harbor, but reservations don't seem to mean much. it's an adventure, right? Take the leap or keep looking....$120.00 a night so your call

Just terrible. I stayed here years ago and I don't remember it being this bad at all! I had a weekend booked here recently because it was affordable and canceled that immediately, I checked in saw the room and left. ROUGH! I ended up paying double per night at another place and I've never felt like it was more worth it in my life. The only good thing was one of the gentleman at the front desk, he was great!

Visiting the Bay area I had a chance to stay at this quaint and lovely hotel located within the Alameda Marina right beside the yacht club. After checking I proceeded to go up the King Suite I booked and was welcomed with a very clean and comfortable room with a lovely view of the Marina as seen on the picture. My stay was a very comfortable and memorable one and I will gladly book a room at this place again and I suggest you do the same when visiting Alameda.

We were booked in to one room, the safe was unusable, the room was filthy, the floor had dirt and debris all over it, had to wear shoes inside. This was a renovated room. We asked for a room change and the next room was worse, disgustingly in disrepair, filthy and smelled like someone had died of a cigarette overdose. We checked out rather than stay in that pit of filth. The pool, which once was sparkly and beautiful, now is empty with debris and garbage in it, and the pool area is similarly filthy. The entire property is so neglected and unmaintained, it's entire facade looks blighted. The shame of this neglect is unbelievable. I have stayed there in the past and have recommended the Inn to family and friends. It was always simple and no frills, but was also clean and well maintained. At this point, it should be shut down by the health department.
