GO HERE. NOT OFFICE MAX OR UPS. They have what nobody else in Alameda has-- excellent shipping materials. They will pack up any object you need to ship right there at the counter. They have packing peanuts, bubble wrap and boxes of any size, and you will save a ton of money buying mailing materials here.
Actually, neither OfficeMax nor UPS even had the size box I needed. It was just a small box for mailing a tablet.
UPS tried to sell me this expensive mailer for laptops, whereas Mail Boxes Plus just packed it up with their materials, very neatly and securely-- for way less! Go to Mail Boxes Plus to box your items, and you can mail it right there. I had a QR Code to use at the post office, but the supplies the post office has are limited and way more expensive, so I would go here first.

I have been a customer of this place for more than 5 years. I strongly recommend this place. They are a family run company and they provide excellent service. I have used many similar services but none come close to the quality provided by Mail Plus.

This is long overdue - my family has been using this place for ages, and Arman and his family have only improved an already great business. I've been having mail sent to them for almost four years now, and they have NEVER let me down. Not even once.
They are SO kind, first of all. Always an absolute pleasure to visit and work with. They're immediately concerned with your experience as a customer, make room for your particular circumstances, and show up for you every single time. Not to mention, the price is quite literally unbeatable in the bay.
I can't say it enough - these folks are the best!

Arman is so helpful and kind! I always stop here for any packages/mail. Much better than going to USPS and standing in a long line only to have someone rude and unhelpful assisting you. He also does notarizations, FedEx, etc.!

Walked in after UPS turned me away since the notary "forgot her notebook" that day. Super quick and convenient, no hassle. Looked like the owner was about to leave for lunch/quick break as I made it there about 2:00 and despite the fact I told him I could wait or come back, he insisted to help me out and delayed his break for me. I'll be back next time I need a notary

This Mail Box facility closes at random hours!!!Although the posted open hours are 9-6, we went there twice recently to pick up important packages and found out they were either closed the whole day or closed early. They didn't even bother to leave a message in their phone answering service and let people know that they are closed on that particular day. This place is so unreliable, we won't trust them anymore for important deliveries.

the People! The family who runs this business are amazing humans who care about their customers. We had so much package theft at our fruitvale home that we needed to find a package delivery place we could trust. After many years, Arman and his mom and family feel like frwinds. I cannot recommend them enough!

Be cautious. I had a package dropped off here and it wasn't turned over to UPS for 8 days - and only after getting heated with them twice. Something may be amiss so be careful. Prior reviews are positive so I'd appreciate a detailed explanation by the store.Update: The package arrived in a DIFFERENT box, most valuable items were STOLEN (Almost $1k), and UPS billed me additional for shipping because the thieves sent a humongous almost-empty box. Never again!I will update this review if the store ships the Ubiquiti equipment that was stolen from me.

I had a packaged shipped here. Tracking shows it delivered and when I go to pick it up they say it's not there. Just looks at his notebook a bunch and says it's not there. With the high yelp rating I was expecting a much better customer experience.

Trust me, you want to do business with Bobbi and Arman. This mother-son duo run the shop so well that it’s hard to imagine ever going somewhere else. Notary, printing, bills, shipping, mailboxes. I love it. They are some of the nicest people on the island. 10/10 would recommend.
