I came in to do a return before they closed at 8pm. There should have been no problem. The items were returned and the cashier finished the transaction very quickly. She handed me the receipt and I asked how my total was returned since I had paid with a gift card. She said it was put back on the add that I paid with. I explained I had paid with a gift card and that it had been tossed by her sales associate since the balance was completely used. I assumed I would get the return as store credit. She then said well idk what to do. The balance always goes back to the card you paid with. She seemed upset, but so was I. I had paid the difference with another card since the gift card didn't cover the whole total. She didn't ask what card the return should be put back onto. She finished the transaction without asking any questions or informing me that the money would be put back to that specific card. If she had said, the balance will go back to your Amex card, I would have said please give me store credit. I don't have that gift card anymore. Or please put it back on my second form of payment. I was not happy with the way it was handled and even after explaining it to her she didn't seem to care and said there's nothing I can do to help you. I mentioned that there is no way for me to get that card back since it was a prepaid gift card for Christmas. She said it wasn't her fault. But I did pay with 2 cards, so the balance could have been returned to the other card. She seemed upset that I was questioning her about how I was supposed to get the balance back. She continued to say there was nothing she could do and handed me a card to call customer service to see if they could help me change the balance to store credit. I think maybe the transaction could have been voided as well. She might have just not wanted to be helpful. It definitely seemed that way.

Checked the holiday hours today--closing at 5pm. Arrive at 4 pm, "Sorry, we've closed the pet wash early." I worked in customer service for years. Your advertised hours are your advertised hours. Very disappointing service.

This is a great store. Friendly staff, well stocked food and supplies and a clean area with tubs to wash dogs. Staff always available to consult about food recommendations. Love how they offer treats to the pets with smiles on their faces.

Customer service in this location is not the best compared to other locations. We went to take our dog for a wash at this location and we needed a little bit more time to dry our dog, and they told us we had to use another coin just to use the dryer another 5 minutes. Other locations have been super okay with giving us a little bit more time to dry our dog. We try to dry her ASAP but sometimes it doesn't work out. My husband went to ask again and they gave him another coin but the lady was not happy. After, we shopped for our cats and you could just feel the cold shoulder they were giving us. We definitely did not feel welcomed and after we paid they didn't even asked if we needed a bag. I could of asked for a bag but we just wanted to leave. It felt like they were doing many of these small things out of spite because we asked for more time. We never demanded, yelled or were rude about asking. I do want to make clear that this was from some of the employees and not everyone. However, we won't be coming to this location anymore.

I love this place. Everyone that works here is so friendly and crazy helpful. Our car had a major dietary change. We weren't sure what exactly to move to as far as a raw food. A woman working (I wish I remembered her name) helped us narrow down the selection. She was able to give us her personal opinion on multiple products because she herself had used them. The whole place is pleasant. Definitely check them out.

Good store Good vet plus their technicians are very friendly toward all dogs & cats by watching their interactions during the exam processes. Any unusual symptom, this nice veterinarian comes out to explain to us.

This review is for the Wellness center. I've been here twice for my dog's allergy shot. Everyone on staff here are amazing. They explain the service and pricing beforehand. The system is pretty simple. Line up outside and at 2pm. someone will come out and register you and your pet. At 2:30 is when they start seeing the first person. The vet on staff is very professional and she's very caring and gentle with all the animals. Prices are reasonable and service is efficient and quick.

I just moved to CA for a short time and my dog was not adjusting well, for more reasons than I would like to admit. I came into PFE and was served by a sweet woman, cannot remember her name just remember she had geometrically shaped glasses and owned kitties. She was wonderful. Recommended wet food for him and even gave me a no hide bone for free of charge to see if that would cheer him up a little. For which it did. I returned with a photo and a thank you, however, have yet to see her in person- I gave such praise to her managers though.

This is the store I normally come to because of the selection for higher quality dog food and the great staff.Speaking of the great staff I came by 3/14/23 a little after 6pm with my puppy. The three staff members greeted us at the register and gave my puppy treats as she was scared of being in a new environment. Unfortunately an odd man had followed me into the store and while I was picking up my items, the man came over yelling something and tried to unhook the leash off of my puppy's harness. I grabbed my puppy away from him and yelled for him to get away. As I tried to make more space between the man and me, the employees did a great job of getting the man out of the store and making sure my puppy and I were safe. I am so grateful to the staff here for making my puppy feel welcome when we first entered and ensuring our safety.The staff have always been great at helping me select food and treats for my older dog with several allergies. The B3G1 free promo makes things much easier on us. And again I am so thankful to the staff for de-escalating and making a safer environment for us.

Was recommended to go to this location by a friend, I should have gone to the other location. Mines doesn't do Vet visits.Upon arrival, one of the Vet staff checking people in was in the middle of a verbal dispute with a Bulldog owner. Didn't catch the convo. Just know he wasn't welcoming at all.She yelled to me and 2 other dog owners to line up against the wall. I literally was there for 25-40 minutes and a standing disabled person with dog voimt in me to be told when it became my time she could not assist because of a dog that needs its space. I forgot what word she used to say it but I did ask her what it meant, and she replied aggressive like to bark, etc.So I went to explain to the other 2 doggie parents why we couldn't be seen using the world aggressive. The owner of tge chihuahua snapped, "Don't call my dog aggressive, and pointing over here." I explained to her I have the same dog at home, and the one I'm with mother is Chihuahua, so I get it. Her daughter gone say what a mother. So my response is you a bad mother, and that's when the same staff started telling at me like the Frenchie owner " you cant talk to my customers like that" I do have freedom of speech they attacked me first.I'm trying to figure out how the system works, and that's when she recommended me to another clinic. I asked her to write it down the information because my hands were nasty from motion sickness voitmit. All she wrote was a name that wasn't even the hispitals' real name. Yes! we traveled an hour and a half to be seen. I asked for wet wips she gave me 3 dry paper towels, asked if she could wet them she said No!. So I went to the cashier and noticed blue towels folded in a storage unit asked for one and got it. Note to company, and I hope not future patrons. The system she has going is no good. If you know you're busy and you need x amount of time to care for a special pet, why would you have 3 people waiting to be turned away? She could have done that when we first got there instead of wasting our time, humiliation, and discrimination. My dig never had shots, so she put us at risk for nothing. Please change the system that makes no sense, or should I say that the discrimination that's happening at this location needs to be removed. You should have a better idea of how many dogs you could see in a day without time wasting humiliation and discrimination, and very bad customer service.One star for the towel, and note you just lost a very valuable client. I called a million times, but there was no answer, and I wasn't filmilar about a virtual cue and / etc. I usually go to Petco for Vet and Petfood for supplies. Haha, not anymore

Why go to crazy Petco when you can have a pleasant shopping experience here? I get the Nulo brand for my mutts which they don't carry at Petco. The layout of the store is organized not cluttered at all. The isles are nice and wide and the staff is always helpful. I like the buy 3 get 1 free deal and sometimes when you are unsure of a product they let you try it for free. Been coming here since they opened a long time ago.

Fast, easy dog wash experience. It's been a while since I washed my dog. $18 felt a little pricey but she needed to be cleaned.

A very organized store! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to my dog being a bit anxious and reactive in the store. The vet was pretty fast as a walk in but the only thing I wasn't a fan of were the vet techs. Doctor was amazing and informative, but the techs didn't seem too confident which made me a bit anxious. One of the cashier workers eased my dog more than the techs did which was really appreciated since she didn't have to. Overall a really great store.
