Tomorrow will be 2 weeks from the date that I helped my disabled friend purchase a mattress from John's mattresses in alameda. They delivered the mattress relatively quickly however when we went to put it on our frame we realized it was the wrong size. We also asked for a box spring not a base. Both the items that were delivered were king and the mattress was not only the incorrect size it was the wrong model. Over course of the last two weeks he first told me I was wrong and the mattress was a cal king. So I measured it and took pictures. Sent them with no response. Finally he admitted the base was the wrong size but was admit the mattress was correct. I work in construction. I'm pretty sure I know how to use a tape measure. It's definately a king. The entire time this is going on, me begging the guy to come exchange this mattress so that my disabled friend has a bed he has been telling me he's out of town and tells me he will be back Friday. So I wait till Friday. Wait all day until 2 pm to be told he will be at my house between 4-5 and no shows on me. Now it's the weekend and he won't answer and I'm stuck with a king mattress I have no room for in my walkway, meanwhile he took my friends money and left the poor guy without a bed this entire time. Pretty sad. When I finally hear back from him late Friday night he tells Me no. Returns. WTH. How is thar fair. Not cool at all.
