Tasty sandwiches, and a solid neighborhood grocery store with a variety of options for snacks to grocery shopping.

I just happened to stop by because I needed to snatch my son something quick for lunch. I was blown away by the customer service. And the food options are A+. Couldn't have asked for a better experience in a shop.

Small footprint but wonderful selection of items. And, really friendly staff. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area, and even might go out of my way to do so

No selection the butter is 13$ And it feels like there’s nothing to eat here. It would be nice if they had dips n chips that didn’t cost 9$ each

This place may have a small selection of groceries to choose from, but its simply because the selection is thoughtfully chosen and consists of hyper-local bay area goods of great quality. Aside from its market, there is a cute coffee stand with yummy pastries that uses Signal Coffee beans. With seating, free wifi and charging outlets, as well as a sandwich deli thats open mid day. A great place to do work and grab food or groceries on your way out

Clean store and employees are super friendly. But the items in this store cost too much $$$. I got a sandwich here. While it tasted decent, the portion is small for the price charged.

Came here with my family and we were treated with the worst customer service. The staff is rude, the produce is old, the products are overpriced, and the deli sandwiches are horrendous.. Zero stars.

Specialty items are both rare and of excellent quality. The staff is helpful and friendly and we love the board games in the cafe!

An awesome local market just down the road from our place. The coffee, pastries and great selection of specialty items that we haven't been able to find at Alameda Natural Grocery are worth a trip to the Savoy.Since we have mobility issues at the moment, this market is just a hop, skip and jump away for us. The baristas are always up for a good convo, they make the coffee quick and just the way we like it and the availability of their pastries just makes us hang out for a while, even if we forget to do our shopping afterwards haha. Weekends are usually a little busier than usual but we always find time to make a trip there when we can.The next thing we need to try is the deli at the back counter; just looking at the descriptions of the sandwiches make our mouth water.Definitely worth visiting if you're ever in Alameda!

I just found this establishment after living in the area for a while. It is a beautiful little market with some general "convenience store" style groceries. It has a coffee station, so you can get your favorite coffee beverage. It also has an artesian sandwich deli where they will hand make sandwiches for you. They keep the inside/outside very clean. The customer service is top-notch! Highly recommended!

I would like to take this time to thank Lucas and Renzo for their phenomenal customer service. They both went above and beyond to make me the best sandwich I’ve had in Alameda. I had an earlier experience at at a different restaurant called Moseley’s where they served me cold broccoli on hummus served on warm toast. I walked out of that restaurant and specifically came to the Savoy Market for their customer service.

I heard great things about Savoy and finally decided to try it out. I was told Deli has a nice vegetarian selection. A bit disappointing: the only veggie selection is the grilled cheese sandwich. Admittedly, it was good. Theoretically, you can build your own sandwich, but again - not a lot of variety for a vegetarian preference. The wine selection is good if you are looking for a mid-price wine: $13 to $30 range.Overall, not the place I would run into for a quick shopping trip. Items offered are of high quality but not enough variety or choices. Has the basics covered, but that’s about it. My corner “mom & pop” store offers more items for lower prices, so I will likely stick with that for my daily routine. What I did like about the Savoy Market is the spacious atmosphere, ability to sit down to eat the sandwich (have not tried outdoor patio yet) and to drink a beverage from the coffee/tea counter. This place is definitely a great addition to the neighborhood.

High quality goods from local artisans and a nice cafe with a few pastry options. My only complaint is that there are no high chairs or booster seats. There are so many toddlers in Alameda. And you’re right around the corner from a playground. You need high chairs!
