Every time I come here, I find myself buying more than I expect to buy. Most of their prices is less than what you would find at your local grocery stores. Some of their stuff have odd flavors I never knew existed. If you look around, you can find some things that are ridiculous cheap. Make sure you check the dates on everything you buy because a lot of their stuff have short expiration dates. Great place to buy if you're not brand specific or looking for a specific item. Some really good finds I found today we're on the 16oz Red vines black licorice 2 for $0.97, 8oz Takis waves intense nacho chips $0.97, 10 pack yan yan cracker sticks with chocolate dip $2.99 and some 14.4oz honey graham crackers 5 for $0.97. That's not a typo. It really did ring up 5 for $0.97 at checkout. Store is always very organized and clean. Staff is friendly and nice. If your buying a lot, ask someone who is stocking the shelves if you can take a box or 2 to put your stuff in instead of buying bags. The boxes are clean since it's just food that have been in the boxes. If there's 1 thing I think they could do better, they need to be quicker at opening more checkout lanes. I was here late morning on Saturday and there were 2 cashiers and 2 very long lines. I was getting ready to abandon my cart until they opened another lane. Luckily everyone ahead of me moved over to the new lane so the wait to pay for my stuff was much shorter.

I love this place make sure you always check expiration dates on food. I never know what I'm going to end up getting, booze, cheese, maybe a purple dragon. You just never know when you go on GO Safari

This Outlet is one of my everyday shopping spots, but on September 9th 2023 I had a very rough time with a Nigerian cashier worker she was very rude rushful and unkind when it came to checking me out. Do she need to leave lose her job because of her bad attitude in one way yes, but since there is such a shortage and it's hard for people to find jobs. I hope that she will get her act together and not receive another unkind report about her attitude and how she serves the public. If this is not the job for her then she needs to quit and find something that she can love and grow in being, disrespectful and in a rush to go on a break should never interfere with how she serves the people.Grocery Outlet Store in Alameda California

I'm updating my review from five stars to two stars because two thirds of the items I purchased were inedible or plastic tasting or plain rotten even though I made sure to check the expiration dates. There were only a couple items out of a hundred and forty dollar grocery trip that ended up being edible. The place seems like they have a lot of great choices but so much of what I bought was just not fit for human consumption

Shopped on a Wednesday evening & I was told by a store clerk that there were only 4 red hand baskets in the store due to theft! Crazy, scandalous Alamdean's! Other than that is was great except for the Halo keto vanilla ice cream I bought was HORRIBLE!

What can I say!? I love GO!! Always surprised by what I'll find and always grateful to save my hard earned money in the process. They make grocery shopping fun and as a guy who hates shopping, that's HUGE!! I mean I literally get giddy knowing I'm going to GO and yes, when travelling, I look to see if there a GO nearby. So yeah, I'm a big fan of Grocery Outlet.

Great finds almost every visit. I wouldn't say this is somewhere you could go regular grocery shopping with a list. Most of the time I walk up and down each isle and grab whatever looks good. They do not reliably have the same items every day or every week. If you see something you like grab 2 or 3. Chances are the next time you're looking for the item it won't be there. Make sure to check expiration dates. Grocery outlets are able to sell you at low priced because the items expiration dates are fast approaching. Can get a bit crowded and lines long but usually a new line is opened quickly if they see slow wait times.

I live near by and I go here many times. I love there prices and quality. I was there this morning and bought some items Cashier was helping me. She was not nice and I thought she had an attitude at the same time she was talking on her ipod.

One of the best locations. If you go here try to pay with the cashier that has tattoos. She is one of the sweetest people you could meet. Outstanding representative for grocery outlet

I am a lifelong Alameda resident, and a 32 year resident of this neighborhood, so please believe me when I say that this store embodies the funky, fun, slightly wacky spirit of old school Alameda. Think "1970s Alpha Beta Market" except with cool modern stuff. Fantastic deals on food, really nice employees, and lowkey hippie parent vibes while you shop. I actually look forward to bringing my two boys here, and I can honestly relax and just have fun finding food with them because I know we'll be loading up on two weeks of stuff for $120 or less. Great meats and seafood. A stunning amount of fresh produce. 5 stars all around. Like a school field trip for moms and dads. I promise you will love this store as much as we do!

I go in for the first time ever (I go to other grocery outlets) with my scooter folded up in the cart because I don’t have a lock with me and because it’s never been a problem at Safeway (I do it all the time). I’m almost done shopping and the manager walks by me and says I can’t have it in the store (even though it’s folded up in the cart). Then the security guard says the same thing (as if I didn’t get it the first time). Then I go in to return something and he says -again-as if I still don’t understand. Suffice to say, I’m never returning to this store due to the rude manager.
