Had so so much definitely has everything I need and so much I don't almost worse then going to tarjay I could easily drop 100 on things I don't need and have wanted to try really friendly cashier's stopped without being irritated to check price on things love this place everyone including customers were happy so surreal

I went to this location because a health product I use daily was 75% cheaper than pharmacies & Amazon. So I brought a friend and we bought Groceries also. The Grocery Outlet Team were helpful and nice.

Went to this store today for the first time since it was on my way to Safeway and I wanted to see if there were any good deals before I spent an arm and a leg at Safeway. However, I instantly regretted coming to this store and should have honestly backed out before I continued on through the store.
Most of the store associates are rude and don’t greet/speak to customers. The store is not organized in a manner that makes it seamless to shop there and a lot of the store just seemed like simple housekeeping was their last concern. An utterly filth ridden store.
But to keep it a buck, that wasn’t even the biggest issue. The biggest issue was dealing with their cashier Daya, who seemed to be better equipped at judging people than her actual job of customer service. Her attitude was contrite and cold and simply uninviting. The first thing she asked me was if I was using “EBT” an action she had not done to the several customers before me and not even to the man after me. I am going to guess that because I’m black she thought that question was more appropriate than saying hello first. I asked her if she asked everyone that first off and she lied and said yes when in real time, I watched her not do exactly that. Though there is nothing wrong with having snap, I can’t help but wonder why that was the only thing she felt the need to ask me.
Either way, I will never shop at store this store because of their lovely “customer service”, plain and simple. I spent too much money for someone to make ignorant assumptions about me based on how they think I look.
Spend your money where you’re welcomed.

Great store! Pick up items on a blink of an eye for specialized items that works for last minute house pleasing event! For Example perfectly cut salami Ends ! They are the best just don’t get the brown discolored ones your stomachs and friends stomachs may not like it! lol check that date. Otherwise good place quick plant gifts too or flowers!?

There is a new owner that is very unprofessional and has a nasty attitude and an ego larger than the store that he imposes on you and makes sure you know he is the owner and if you disagree with something about the store there is no in between he just says go somewhere else and shop . I have been in Alameda since 2017 and this store was never ran like it is today it used to be a great place to shop . I shop there out of convince but if you can get to any other store or Grocery outlet I suggest you go there .

Grocery Outlet's prices are great, but you have to be vigilant of expiration dates. I've found short and expired items a number of times. Also, at the Buena Vista location, when finding a sale item in the store, on more than one occasion, but higher price at the register - they will not honor what they advertised, even after pointing it out to them! Very frustrating.
