Grace the receptionist is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCARING! I called in for my puppy with a fractured tibia and not only did she refuse to fit me in for an appointment, she wouldn't even return my call. When I called to follow up she refused to answer my call. Grace, you should be Ashamed of yourself! You are a disgrace to Park Centre Animal Hospital. On a side note, the vet did fit me in for an appointment the next day.

This is overall a good vet practice, but you had better empty your bank account before you go there. I have been using this service for over 25 years, along with a couple of less expensive places. Most expensive vet office I have ever encountered! I am not seen as a top priority. Now that you have to pay in full at time of service, I literally CAN NOT afford their services. Its very disappointing that their first priority there is making money and not caring for animals. It didn't used to be this way. When you see the corvette in the parking lot of one of the owners I can't help but feel I paid for that car single handedly.

I just called Parke Centre about my male cat that seemed blocked. The receptionist would not get me in. I told her I was on a fixed income and she told me that's not her problem. Was very dismissive and would not offer us an urgent care appointment, nor would she recommend one. Hideous, uncaring people. They want only the easy and expensive stuff.

Super friendly, efficient and compassionate. I am grateful for all that the vets and staff do for my fur family.

Last August 3, 2022, I brought my dog Sparkey in to be examined by Dr. Loo for pain in his neck. She thought it might be a disc problem, and would go away with pain medication. She prescribed metacam and gabapentin, and assured me he would recover. She gave me handouts for disc disease and neurology specialists, which she said I didn't need to contact yet. However, I called Pacific Veterinary Emergency and Specialist Hospital [PACVET] because they were the closest and only one in the East Bay. The soonest date available was October 3rd, 2 months away, but I was told I could bring him in to emergency sooner if necessary. He was getting worse, so I took him in to emergency Sept 26th. I was told he needed a MRI to determine if he had a disc issue or a TUMOR!!! I said, "TUMOR!" I was never told that could be a possibility! I can't begin to describe my shock and horror when I was told the next day he had a very aggressive TUMOR and nothing could be done!! I can't believe Dr. Loo never mentioned that was a possibility. I know she is no more a neurologist than I am, but she was TOTALLY NEGLIGENT and at fault for her lack of knowledge in this situation. When I took him in for the MRI he could stand and walk. After the MRI he was paralyzed and lived one week. I regret ever trusting him to your care. Looking back I see nothing but failure among so-called professionals in this whole agonizing process. I only hope all involved suffer more than my sweet, innocent Sparkey, and above all, remember how your incompetence, especially by Dr. Loo, cheated Sparkey out of a healthy life!!

They take great care of my dogs especially my 17 year old Chihuahua. I've boarded my other two dogs for a few days with no issues.

Been coming for years and love it here. We got a senior piglet (11) and he started having seizures after about a year. They got him in on Phenobarbital after that, his seizures were reduced from daily to a couple times a year. He lived happily to be almost 16. Our 5yr old cats continue to be treated there and our 11-month old puppy just has her first visits recently as well.

We're so lucky to be part of the Park Centre Animal Hospital community! The staff is consistently attentive and nice. They are very thoughtful and check-in after a vet visit. Invoices make sense, you don't feel like you're getting charged for things you don't understand. Only reco I have would be to get pics of our pup while he is with them boarding! Especially when we have to leave him longer than a week, it's nice to get photo updates!

9/13/22-This review is painful, this really is for the owners who choose not to step up and do right by all the animals who are left in there care! I have been with them for over 6 yrs and have had my dogs boarding as well, and never once did it a occur to me that they had all the animals holding there urine for over 9+hrs. Most dogs wont pee/bowl movements where they sleep. Any dog boarding at this facility will have to hold there Urine over 9 hrs placing huge pressure on their bladder. They close at 6 and they may go out one last time before 7pm after that, your dog has to hold it until 5:30/6am. While I love the staff this is a owner issue not the staff. While I have been trying to communicate with the owners they don't seem to understand that 9+ is inhumane to the animals.

Kinda sucks when you need a local vet that's only a few blocks away from the house and they aren't taking pets because they already have too many coming in

Here are thoughtful and helpful people. I did not get this impression with "Providence " in Alameda. There I felt every tiny thing revolved around my wallet first. My dog was secondary. What a blessing these people are here. It is obvious they care about your pet.

They make it a big pain to order medication or else pay their mark up. They also don't follow their posted hours

Fair and care. Love how they treat our fur baby like their own family. They are a big part of our aging French Bulldogs life.

We loved Park Centre Animal Hospital for the past 8 years, seeing them regularly for our cat's physicals and flee medicine. Recently our cat got sick, and we had a terrible experience with Doctor Wallace. She was patronizing, judgmental, and extremely unprofessional. She said, "You said you didn't have any money" when we asked to get a specific scan done for our cat after we had disclosed that we did not have extensive funds to treat our cat's lymphoma as rigorously as we would like to. This is a completely inappropriate way to speak to a patient. This is also hurtful for us as this is a hard time for our family grappling with the potential loss of our beloved kitty. We will be transferring to a different vet that has more compassion and professionalism.

5x as expensive as their competitors with half the ability. The doctors here missed obvious issue with my dog and charged an arm and a leg to do it. Go anywhere else.
