I️ highly recommend European Auto Repair. Max the owner is highly trained and provides outstanding customer service!. Upon dropping off my Mercedes this morning to be serviced , I️ was given a ride to Fruitvale BART and was picked up when my car was finished. Wonderful communication was given throughout the day about all that needed to be done to my car. Max is honest and fair. I️ am definitely pleased with the wonderful care given to my car. You will not be disappointed!

These guys know their way around German cars! Kinda pricey, but German cars are not cheap to maintain.

We recently were gifted a used Audi and it needed a service. Albert did the service on the car and called me to tell me about some issues he had found, but he did not charge me for the codes or for his diagnosis. He suggested I bring the car back to the Audi dealer where it had been serviced for years as he said some of the troubles were probably caused by their work. Audi proceeded to charge me a couple of hundred dollars to re-run the codes and then quoted me for a major job. I paid for the codes but decided to bring the car back to Albert (much more trustworthy) who completed the work (and did extra) and the price was still less than Audi's by about $200. Albert is very honest and helpful and a nice person. I will definitely be returning there and would recommend him over the dealer anytime!

Went to these guys in 2020 and paid around $4K. Same exact issue cropped up a couple years later and now they want me to pay thousands again. Totally wouldn’t be surprised if they put in bad or old parts so you would need to fix it again later on. The staff were also incredibly rude. Never again. Also overcharges for labor.

Went in today for an oil change charged me 266$ when I called in I only called in for an OIL CHNAGE turns out they are also charging me for an inspection when I did not ask for an inspection I just had one 2 months ago with an oil change for 250$ at the same place aka here my car was not asking for an inspection. I told what turns out to be the owner he was extremely rude & non helpful will not be coming here ever again. They are such scammers highly do not recommend. If I could give negative 1 star I would.

Started using European auto repair after the extended warranty on my Mini Cooper Clubman ran out an had deferred some maintenance during the pandemic. Was having some issues with starting in cold weather and took it in. After doing most of the obvious things and fixing a couple other issues, the cold start issue persisted. After performing the next least expensive fixes and still not solving the issue completely, they took the car back and replaced the fuel pumps (the last remaining and most expensive common fix for the symptoms) charging only for the high pressure fuel pump part and not the supply pump, lines nor any labor for that last operation. The owners were pleasant to deal with, listening well to any details I could offer and went so far as to take my car home to be able to reproduce the issue as it wouldn't happen for a long period after a successful start or if the weather wasn't cold enough. They were also happy to give me a ride home if I was pressed for time or the weather was unfavorable when I had to leave or get the car.By standing behind their work and going above and beyond to make my car run the way it should, they have earned my business for as long as I own a model they work on.

Good prices, knowledgeable owner. He has worked on two of our VW's, one a classic and one newish. There is also a smog option there too, which is convenient.

My vw broke down on my way there. I was with my son and he had to use the restroom. When I asked for him to let my son use it, he told me No!!!! Can u believe it???? Mind you there is an OPEN restroom in the lot that has a posted sign showing what it is!! Go figure!! I'd rather sleep in my car then let anyone who won't allow a 9 year old to pee!!I'm a person of color as well... could that be the reason??? What. Do you guys think....

Iv been bringing my Mercedes here for a couple years now. It's a 2009 which is not considered at all new. Since bringing it here I have had zero issues. They are honest, hard working and experienced. Max and his father Albert know what they are doing ( the rest of the team ) I'll continue my services here. Best place I've experienced with service on my vehicle.

This experience was laughable to say the least. The owner doesn't time to explain anything other than brief moments to summarize what parts they can throw at it next.I was told I have to "be a big boy and pay" for parts that were not failing and did not need to be replaced. After paying over $900 for that it fixed nothing.Also left the old o-rings inside the fuel rail which clogged the fuel injectors. These guys are complete clowns.A real mechanic found wrong parts installed and shop owner still denies any responsibility for all the extra diagnostics and parts they charged me.

Nothing worse than having your power steering belt go out and nothing even worse than bringing your BMW 740il to a shop that professes quality and customer service to find out they are not! Talk about being overcharged...$742 for a power steering reservoir? Plus getting lip from the son there, saying "The car will be ready when I say it is.." Think twice people before bringing your car in here...it was an awful stressful experience....
