The cashier has been helpful and friendly and the pharmacist has given clear instructions on the prescription medicine, including what to pay attention to when taking the pills and the potential side effects. I’m glad to have them helping in the neighborhood!

Wine, liquor and beer cabinets were all locked up, and the shelves behind were nearly empty. The store was dirty and understaffed. The staff were disinterested and lazy. Leave Alameda, CVS!

The staff of the pharmacy could not possibly be worse, from the unhelpful pharmacists to the really stupid cashiers in the pharmacy department who keep their phones by their side, and don’t pay attention to the customer in front of them. I nearly exploded at yesterday’s ridiculously disinterested clerk. She asked my simple name 3 times because she was looking at her phone. I know people need jobs, but jobs require attention to their expected work. These people are horrible employees. An example of pharmacist “neglect” is the last time I needed a new prescription, I asked about side effects/ drug interactions. The response was “it’s for your heart”. If CVS scratches the bottom of a moldy barrel for their Alameda staff…good job…you got the scum!

I can get in and out pretty quick and easy picking up my online orders. The pharmacy wasn't too busy the few times I've gone in for that.

More than sufficient CVS. They have their pharmacy and medication drop off for expired or unneeded medications.Yhey have great customer service and a good selection of products.

Linda at the pharmacy is stellar. She went above and beyond to help me get my prescription filled despite hiccups with my personal care provider sending the wrong Rx. I really appreciate the courtesy and efficiency in the midst of what seemed to be a particularly busy day, thanks Linda!

This location does not honor online prices in-store — BUYER BEWARE: the prices at this location are likely higher than what you are seeing online, proceed with caution. The ladies at the register were nice, but refused to adjust the price to match the CVS website (as per usual at other locations.) What a waste of everyone’s time…

On the evening of 11/29, An on-duty employee ignored me, then an off-duty employee directed me to the general line when I asked where do I go to pick up my picture. After I stood in the wrong line, I was directed back the to the original counter I was sent away from. This was because the off-duty employee was purchasing large amounts of candy and toys, some of which she purchased, others were left unbagged and not rung up by the on-duty employee. How do I know this? I watched them ring some items up and leave other items in another part of the cart. The off-duty employees then went back into the aisles and picked up more items (think a dozen bags of 100count candy), go to a different counter, purchased a few more of the items, then go behind the counter a couple of times, then leave the store with some purchased and some unpurchased items. I watched from my vehicle as she left the store. At least 2 of the on-duty employees rung her up.When I told the off-duty employee I did not appreciate that she purposely directed me to the wrong line so she could purchase her stolen items, and she should not be jumping in front of customers, she said ‘I’m a customer too’.

Yes indeed! My wish is that there were more of this Gentleman in NOT just CVS pharmacy store but every store place that provides "Customer Service" for the local patron's and general public communities. This team member is highly efficient and very effective people skills that i witness on the fateful day of my imperative ordeal. THANK YOU!! CVS pharmacy for hiring such an outstanding human being, if i ever doubted CVS pharmacy as opposed to Walgreens, RiteAid and any other similar store's in the nation-that was because those time's and store location did NOT have such an amazing caliber potential team member as this one particular CVS pharmacy store visually have evidently. Cheers! Kudos!This Gentleman went *Above and @the right place @the right time, My credit score would've already been ruined by now and worthless for Me to ever consider repairing it at all, just done with it!
