Sunny and Peter knocked it out of park again. Saved me 1100 with a complicated fix they made simple. Plus they did smog and had me out of there in 30. Always great mechanics only exceeded by their friendliness and handshake of always treating their customers fair. Thanks!

I called the day before asking if 10:45 AM was a good time to visit and if they took appointments or if I should just come in. They said just come in. When I arrived, they said there was just one person ahead of me. After 40 minutes of waiting, they said it would still be 20 more minutes. Fed up, I said they should let me know ahead of time if it would be an hour wait. The guy yelled, saying, “I’m busy too, not just you!” Totally missing the point. If you’re busy, let your customers know! Don’t expect people to wait around for an hour and certainly never yell at your customers. Bad service, very disappointing.

I needed smog certification for my old car that was sitting for months. Central Auto was great. They told me if it were sitting for extended period of time I need to run it for 45 minutes or an hour to clean it out so would pass. I did what they suggested and it passed. The mechanics were very friendly and knowledgeable. Also I needed to get it inspected ASAP since my registration had expired. They could look at the car right away, know long waits. Great service and experience.

I've been a customer of this auto shop for a few years. I take my old Honda for oil change after 3,000 miles each time and smog check every two years. I pass the smog checks each time but at this time my car didn't pass for the reason "functional check-Fail" I passed all. Maybe I am wrong for assuming that I shouldn't pay if the smog check failed. The mechanic charged me $61.75 for the test. He suggested that I should try to drive my car for at least 100 miles and come back for a re-test for an extra charge of $40 (the smog test certificate included). I feel like I'm being overcharged for a simple smog test. During the pandemic, I needed help in checking my tire pressure. I will not mention a name but I was told to pay $10 for the service. Overall, what I am saying is for a long-time customer, being asked to pay for a tire pressure help is greediness. I am taking my business somewhere else. I don't want a business that nickel and dime their customers and operate by being greedy. I have but all positive experience with Sunny, who is nice and honest. The others.....thumbs down!

Central Auto got my 2003 bmw to pass smog while another station charged me bunches and fixed nothing Central diagnosed the problem and solved the smog puzzle excellent job guys.Service: Auto emissions testing
