Awesome folks, quality work, timely delivery, and great service! I am so happy to have found such a great place and will proudlysupport this small business. Brett and his team came highly recommended to me by my neighbor, whose entire family had their cars serviced by Car Care Service. Now I can honestly say I also recommend them too! I made an appointment for a Friday brake inspection as I was looking for new brakes for my older car. They inspected it and told me exactly what needed to be replaced and the cost upfront. They were able to do the work that day. Their prices were very reasonable, and they went above and beyond to deliver within their estimated time frame. They did everything right to finish my car so I could have it for the weekend. I am so happy to support such a reliable and professional independent repair shop! Now I know where to go for all of my car needs! Thanks again!

We are a big fan of Car Care Service in Alameda. We have send our Toyota and Honda vehicles for both regular service and major repairs. Most recently, our old Prius was randomly losing power when accelerating. The Care Care team drove the Prius for an extensive multi-day test drive until they experienced the problem. Car Care provided their assessment and recommended solutions. Since the problem was random in nature, and the repair required replacing a number of parts, they encouraged me to get a second opinion with another repair shop, if we were uncomfortable with their recommendations. We love their honesty and transparency. With their 100% past repair track record, we forego getting a second opinion and the repair fixed the problem. We don't expect mechanics to be always perfect in their diagnosis, especially with older vehicles with aging parts, but I respect Car Care Service's honesty and dedication to do their very best to fix the problem. We never felt fleeced in doing unnecessary repairs, their rates are always lower than dealers, and over the years Care Car Service has earned our trust.

Full tuneup. Replaced all fluids. Actually reset the oil change monitor on the vehicle. The knew what a focus st is. Very reasonable and professional. Will use them from now on.

AMAZING experience. Had an issue with my car 2+ mechanics I took it to could not diagnose, including the dealership, which still charged me mad money to replace parts I didn't really need to fix. Brett got me in on a super tight timeline, and his mechanics immediately found the issue (which was indeed a bit sneaky / hard to diagnose). Fixed for an incredible price. Would highly recommend!!

My car broke down last Thursday, and I was trying to find a mechanic to take my car to. Car Care Service was very responsive and was able to accommodate my tow-in at the last minute. Long was friendly and helped me complete my intake paper quickly right before they closed. My car is running great and the price for the repair of my alternator it was pretty reasonable. I am very glad that I was introduced to this mechanic and will be coming back if I need service.

This is one of those reviews I don't want to write, because I'd had such great experiences with them and Bret is such a nice guy. A few months ago, I brought in a 16 year old Honda with 200,000 miles that I'd just purchased. The suspension was in rough shape, the car pulled hard to the right and it needed lots of work.We spent two weeks in the shop and $2,500 on a "full suspension rebuild and alignment" only for the car to end up riding worse and sounding noisier than it did before I brought it in. It was only after we spent the $2500 and had TWO alignments done that they mentioned that the wear on the tires was the primary reason for the alignment issues. So now I had to spend another $700 tires to fix the problem. Also it turned out full suspension rebuild did not include an entire section of the control arm and bushings which they didn't rebuild and is apparently the main place the noise in the rear coming from. I went back to follow up twice and both times Brett said he was working on a solution and they would call me. Months later I never got a call, and the car still rides terribly.

This is my main mechanic Brett what a guy this man has been able to assist me with so much with my 2009 Honda Accord which has been through multiple accidents and I am insured by Geico and he has done almost all of the work to get my car back running there was so many times that I didn't think it was going to be able to work and pieces were broken pieces were missing he was able to get it all together every single time he is my magic man that's what I call him I really appreciate him and all of his stuff he has some great employees as well he has Mr long Mr Chris and Mr Joshua all amazing mechanics great people they take their time they listen their responsive they're fair and their helpful they'll make sure that when your car gets back on the road it gets back on the road better than what it was.

I came in a few months ago because my Prius wasn't starting without a jumpstart so I made an appointment with Brett for him to check what was going on. He informed me about a battery change and was super transparent with what everything costed and if I approve of the transaction. Brett is trustworthy and cares about his customers. I also asked if he could do a whole car checkup to see if I need to fix anything else and he charged half an hour of labor which was super affordable. Brett told me my car was in perfect shape! I will be coming here for all my car needs! I'll be back soon for an oil change haha. Thanks Brett!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Car Care Service and I had an outstanding experience. I arrived with a broken passenger side mirror on my car, and within seconds of walking into the shop, I was greeted by the owner, Brett. He was extremely professional, prompt, and thorough in his installment of the mirror (which I had ordered on Amazon and brought with me). It was a little tricky putting the right pressure on it and making sure that the mirror could still be operated and positioned from the inner control panel. Brett was pleasant and communicative throughout the whole process. I knew I was in good hands.The best part of my experience was that Brett completed the service free of charge! I was blown away by his kindness and generosity. It's rare to find such a genuine person who is passionate about their work and cares about their customers. I left Car Care Service feeling grateful and relieved, knowing that I had found a trustworthy mechanic.I believe it's important for small businesses like Car Care Service to provide personal attention and attention to detail, and Brett certainly exceeded my expectations in both regards.
