Lorna was so helpful when I forgot my driver license. She went out of her way to try to verify me so that I could complete my banking's needs. I am coming back to open 100k CD WITh Lorna soon. Bank of Marin services always the best

I'm a customer for many years now and I'd strongly recommend not having anything to do with this bank. They took over a mortgage loan that I had with American River Bank after their acquisition. Good businesses should treat their customers like royalty but this bank harasses their customers for no good reason. I faithfully pay my mortgage held with them in full and on time each month and actually pay more than the required amount each month for many years now but they are actively harassing me and it feels like they are trying to find a reason to default me for no good reason (well actually their reason is so they can charge a lot higher (default) interest rate for their predatory mortgage loan). I want to change to a different mortgage servicer but they will not allow that. Please take my strong advice and avoid this bank like the predatory plague that they are.

Hard to know if they're any good! I called them to get interest rates on their CDs. The person answering the phone said she didn't know, asked me how much I wanted to invest. I told her and she said, "oh, well I'll have to get the manager to call you back". What the hell? Shouldn't this be public information? Did the manager call me back? No, no she did not.

Been banking here over 20 years. They handle my business and personal accounts. Know the staff, the management, and they are just an excellent bank.

As a first-time city council candidate, I needed a dedicated bank account for the campaign. After a few weeks of endless phone handoffs from other banks, I contacted Bank of Marin.Alex was a great help in getting the account set up. She had a good knowledge of the special rules for campaign accounts. She provided timely responses to my questions and the account worked great.I appreciate that the Bank of Marin prioritizing facilitating the financial part of the democratic process. The next time I have a banking need, I'll go to the Bank of Marin first.

They function more or less correctly as a bank, but they make the simplest requests into unnecessary ordeals. We've spent way, way more time than expected over the years dealing with what should be quick and painless processes.

My grandma and I went to Bank of Marin to take care of some business and we were very pleased with Kevin Navarro's service. He was very professional and patient with us. Answered all our concerns. We are glad that he works where we bank. Thanks again Kevin, much appreciated!

I have just completed applying for and successfully obtaining an equity loan from the Bank of Marin, Alameda, Marina Square. My loan experience there was exemplary. The primary reason for that was the extremely professional care and services provided me by its Branch Manager/Vice President, Cynthia Hollins. She is a true gem. She is very intelligent, helpful and courteous to the maximum degree. Steven Englander

I've been banking with Bank of Alameda which became Bank of Marin for many years. I have nothing but the absolute best to say about this branch. Additionally, I would like to commend Lorna Goforth at South shore for being an absolute professional. Her people skills are unparalleled.

Why would anyone use this bank? Clients cannot send wires transfers without physically coming into the branch. That would be a deal breaker, but it gets worse. There's no central service office; they refer to a branch. And branch (e.g., Alameda) customer service is horrible - the person answer the phone puts me on hold because someone walked into the branch. Is there only one person working there? On hold for long time. When you finally speak with someone, they know so little about banking they give wrong answer to simple questions - e.g., suggesting to use portal for transferring $ to a 3rd party at another bank (actually, that is not possible; that only works if transferring to another bank account with same named account).

Unable to get phone calls answered directly. Recorder tells you to leave a message and they will get back to same day, or next day.

Outstanding community bank! Bank of Marin provides great customer service to their business banking clients. I have done business with them since I arrived on the island in 2012 when the bank was then Bank of Alameda. As the head of a non-profit I recognize the importance of businesses willing to support the community. Bank of Marin is a leader in this area. Their policy is to distribute profits to organizations providing critical services within the community they serve. This is best illustrated by their name and logo on events and functions throughout the year. The people at Bank of Marin are all outstanding. You will find many of them volunteering on non-profit boards and committees as well as civic groups. Senior management is very approachable as I have had the privilege to meet with the President, Russ Columbo and several Vice Presidents. One person that stands out on their team is John Jacobs. John is like Mr. Alameda. He knows everyone and is always willing to help when it comes to Alameda. For these reasons and many more I award Bank of Marin 5 stars. Woohoo! As good as it gets!

"I've only been here twice, that is enough" I would not do business here. The people there pick and chooses who they serve and disrespectful robots work there. My experience there sucked. & please don't try to change my mind about this bank employees. "They think they slick" go check and see for your selves how they roll. "Don not do business there" I wouldn't give this a star if I did not have to.

GOOD LUCK GETTING THEIR F****** ATM TO SCAN YOUR CHECKS. (All of which means if you wish to deposit checks, you have to suffer the inconvenience of walking into the branch during weekday business hours. Kind of defeats the purpose of the check scanner, doesn't it?)
