“This was my first visit to Fred's Wrenchouse, and I had a great experience. My repair could have cost more than it did, but they simply did what was necessary to make my car both driveable and aesthetically pleasing and I was on my way a few hours later. This process was made easier because after I dropped my car off in the morning, I was able to go around the corner to Pete's coffee and worked there for 4-4.5 hours on my laptop, and my car was ready to be picked up before 2 PM. Clearly, with all their high ratings here on Yelp, this business doesn't need another one, but I think it's important to keep reviewing so that new customers know they are still doing quality work, in a reasonable amount of time, for a fair market price, and not doing more/charging more if it isn't needed. I had the repair completed the first few days of October 2023, and 6 weeks later it's still feeling solid and my car drives so much more smoothly after the fact.”

“My car got hit by Chevrolet Silverado on the driver side :( When I called my insurance to file a claim, they were able to give me a website that located the auto body shop that works well with them. If you have National General Insurance / Encompass / Allstate, this place definitely knows what they're doing!Before I found this location, I did call the first one near me and unfortunately that location didn't accept new clients until 2 weeks out... When I called this location, they immediately told me I can come in next day for an inspection & evaluation. I was really happy that they were able to do what they need to next day. My car was still somewhat drivable, so I didn't have to leave it at their location, but if your car is completely unsafe and not drivable, it's best to call them ahead of time if they have space to leave your car there.When I got to this location, the friendliest front desk gentleman helped me out, his name was Tian. He was super helpful and knowledgeable! He truly pays attention to details when it comes to the inspection of your damaged car. He helped me order all the parts that my car needed, and it came within 3 business days!Once the parts arrived, I was able to drop off my vehicle next morning. Tian and another gentleman, Marcus, helped me out during the drop off process; it was smooth and easy! They were kind enough to order me a Lyft back home, since I had no ride. One thing I love about this place is that, they send you a website to see the status of car being repaired! Never in my life I would experience an auto body shop using a system like this. This team is VERY responsive through e-mail communication; if I ever had any questions, they would answer in a reasonable amount of time. I love how this team truly cares about their customers and are passionate about what they do. That's the true value of an auto body shop. The feeling that you're part of their family and your vehicle are in good hands! I would totally highly come back to this location for any future repairs (hopefully not car accident ones). Kevin (the owner) truly built an amazing team full of hardworking people, and you'll definitely get your moneys worth!”

“My experience with Fix Auto Alameda has been nothing but outstanding from start to finish. They have a modern spacious new facility located on Clement Street that is very well equipped and staffed. Ricky was my contact person, who is very professional , organized, friendly, an absolute pleasure to work with. He did the estimate for my honda fit which sustained damage due to collision with a Rav4 on the Nimitz. Damage was to my front bumper, hood, and internal framing and components, which was knocked out of alignment. They were very busy when i took my car in, but within a very reasonable time, Ricky had emailed back to me a detailed estimate item by item breakdown on parts, and labor that needed to be done. During the repair process, Ricky kept me well informed by text every couple days on the progress of the repair. Any delays due to parts availability or additonal damage found he relayed to me by text. I received my vehicle back yesterday as promised, and it looks as beautiful as the day i bought it back in 2016. Their work is absolutely first rate, the panel alignment especially around the hood and side panel is as straight as an arrow. One added advantage of their current location, is that they are located within two blocks of "Enterprise Rental Car" located on Blanding Ave. which makes it super convenient to pickup and dropoff my rental. I highly recommend this auto body shop, wish more establishments were run this well.”

“I know nothing about cars and when I came in, I was greeted right away by Mario, and he helped me get all the parts that I needed! And he really explained everything I needed to know!! And asked if I had any questions about anything!!! Great service!!! Came back a couple weeks after first visit I mentioned above, and he helped me put new windshield wipers on!! Excellent services!!! Great attitude!!! I haven't been to this location in a while but in past visits I was ignored, or no one wanted to help me understand the parts!! So grateful I had two great experiences from the same person!!”

“Kevin and his team are helpful and professional, despite this being a busy shop. He did a great job working up an estimate which required a lot of research on obscure parts for an older vehicle, but kept a great attitude all through the process and coordinated directly with the claims adjuster.”

“Alameda Auto Body Shop was definitely a Body Shop I would only recommend to anyone! Great customer service, price, and quick with great quality of work! I took my car in for repairs after my collision. Nhan at Alameda Auto Body shop took care of the situation from start to finish. I trusted him with my car and he definitely did not disappoint. He updated me with everything my car had to go through and was very kind. Nhan also helped me with everything including getting me a ride to and from the car rental. I didn't have to really deal with AAA because Alameda Auto Body shop took care of everything. After an accident/collision, there's always so much headaches, but Alameda Auto Body shop made sure to keep the whole transaction quick and smoothly. “So it's very weird when you search the business name it has the correct address listed but when you press navigate to it it takes you to the oakland location, but if you manually type the 1835 oak st, Alameda address it navigates you to the correct place. I would suggest to manually type in the address rather searching under the fast undercar name”

“I had a beat up front bumper and instead of charging me $1200 for a new bumper (like others tried to), they took the dent out and glued the bumper back in ~10 minutes for free! I really appreciate it. I didn't have any cash on me to provide a tip at the time - If you remember who helped me I'd like to stop by and give a tip. It was a silver Corolla. Thanks again!”

“I had purchased a alternator it's been seven years when I purchased it and the The alternator went bad and couldn't find my receipt or my phone number and I don't know what to do then I decided to call their headquarters and I spoke to their customer service Alex and he was So very helpful and he told me he was trying to have someone to help me from higher up to approve The warranty. And Alex from Customer Service told me Give them 24 hours to 48 hours. When we hang up the phone and I told him thank you. About two minutes I got a call from their headquarters and his name is Angel and I explained my situation and Angel said just bring it in and I'll take care of it. The next day I went to AutoZone and talk to Aaron he is also very helpful and he just needed to get my ID number and I got my parts. How great is this people in AutoZone? I just wanna extend all my thanks to the AutoZone staff. If you need parts, don't hesitate go to AutoZone. They're the best thank you again.”
