I have used Alameda Point storage for many years, mainly due to me moving out of town and not able to get back soon enough for my items.I've never had an issue with this facility, the staff has always been great to work with. Anytime I needrf a change of address or any administrative processes done, they would always take care of it right away.Their prices are great and they're in a great location. I've never had any issues with my storage unit since I've been here.I would highly recommend Alameda point storage.

Beware. I opened .my karge storage and 2/3 of w everything was as a.wet as if it about in the rain unprotected. I had things wrapped in plastic, in trunks, boxes and off.the ground but everything was soaked and drenched at a shocking level. All ruined even the trunks were ruined. Losses were painful.i had rented ten years several years with no problem but there had been little.or no significant rqins. There apparently is zero protection fromhatd rains. I have had these In back yards before, this was was not dampness, things were drilping and had water draining from.the boxes placed more.than waist high in the unit.and well wrapped and inch of water inside! Closed trunks??? Things stored way off the ground were equally wet and ruined. When we talked to woman at the window she could not.possobly have card less, didn't ask to see, wqid well. you need insurance. That is hardly the point. There is still a standard of reasonable.expectqtion.

Don't trust these folks with your credit card details, they'll make fraudulent charges.I cancelled my storage here and despite receiving a voicemail confirming cancellation, I've now been billed a full month (February 2023) when I've already given 30 days notice (as of January 19th), and they've billed me for the full 28 days in February. They won't do business via email, and even though I'm no longer local are requiring a fill out a form in person. When they repainted units, they just painted over everyone's padlocks, you got to bring in paint thinner and clean your own lockset to access your unit. The actual facilities are run down, poor drainage, and the staff has waved me down multiple times because someone else tailgates in, and tries to blame me for it. (Their gate system is terrible, they expect tenants to act as security.)When emptying out my unit, I found water damage to some of my stored items as the back wall had water running down it/wet to the touch. It appears they simply don't maintain the units very well, as there are many other reviews with this same complaint. During the recent rains all the aisles also flooded, and their storm drains didn't really seem to be draining anything, pointing to lack of maintenance.Additionally, the road in front of the stoage facility has been closed, access to the facility requires looping around on poorly maintained back streets, so it is not convenient to visit. Their hours are wonky, typically accessible when the sun is up but not always. With so many other storage options available, this place isn't worth the hassle or fraudulent credit card charges.Edit Addition: After I posted negative reviews on a couple of sites and informed them I was going to dispute charges suddenly things were fixed. While I am glad they fixed it, having to argue to get them to do the right thing isn't acceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place. The (supposed) owner (a dude, when the google listing says woman owned, so that is a lie) called me this AM about 'my review' not about the poor customer service. Pretty telling when that is how he opens his call. I told him I wasn't a customer any longer and my review stands, and to not call me again.

Keep looking and pay a little more. These folks are beyond incompetent and behave like you are working for them. Their office personnel have no training in customer service are sanctimoniously rude and I was just hung up on because their rep did not know how to do her job.

I had an issue with charges due to credit card issue that the management dealt with quickly and easily. Not sure what the other comments about rude management. This was not my experience.

We were happy with this place until the rent was increased DURING the pandemic by 18%, and now just over a year later it’s going up again but this time a whopping 23%.

left my truck there for nearly a month. When I arrived to pick it up. Oh, my god...I can't believe this. it was in...THE SAME CONDITION I LEFT IT, lol. Yes, nothing wrong. The lady attendant was courteous, helpful, and very cool. The initial process took a while, but it was fine. It's located in safe Alameda. Nothing will happen to your vehicle there. I usually don't frequent car storage rentals, but my own house carport floor needed some painting, and my truck had to be away for a month for the floor paint to fully cure. Anyways, great place to store your vehicle. A+++

I have been to multiple storage companies and found Alameda Point Storage to be the best affordable. I've been a customer since 2016, never had a problem. I enjoy talking with Regina and the other staff , they have been very nice , helpful , respectful and Professional to me when I come to pay my bill. Customer service is excellent. I will continue doing my business here.

Have been an Alameda Point Storage customer for years now; Regina at the front desk has always been very accommodating and goes above and beyond at helping my father and I with our storage unit needs. Very honest people running the place and amazing customer service on the island. We upgraded from a small unit to a bigger one not too long ago and Regina walked us through the price change and helped set our pin code up for the front gate. After past experiences with other storage centers, we are happy to say Alameda Point Storage will always have our business!

The so called manager is rude arrogant and condescending. Stole 1.5 months rent from me though I had prepaid same, when I left this place. REFUSED to let me talk to her boss, the owner of the business. I want to give ZERO out of five !

It is what it is, storage units in different sizes. My monthly payment is $140. My husband and I haven't had any problems with this storage facility. It's reasonably safe and secure. There is a business on site. If paying for storage fee in person, one can get assistance at the window. Due to pandemic, one cannot enter the office to take care of business.

They do offer reasonable storage facilities and rates, however it's barely worth dealing with some of the office staff and their policies. I found Alicia particularly rude and generally unhelpful. The office has a policy that you have to fill out a "notice to vacate" form before they will stop billing you when you want to leave. I think that they do everything they can possibly think of to make this process difficult including losing the form and blaming it among their office staff.
