My friend worked here briefly and the absolute horror stories of the managers talking about employees behind closed doors, singling out the workers who don't kiss up to management, and the borderline illegal tactics of trying to keep employees from accessing HR shocks me. I would never work here and ABB corporate needs to severely overhaul their management at this location. My friend stated that she was on her shark week and they didn't want to let her have an additional bathroom break (apparently you get 2 per shift) and she got WRITTEN UP over not wanting to have an accident at work! And they track EVERYTHING. Like if you take a 2 minute bathroom break, you log that. If you want to eat lunch, you log how many minutes you were not working and were eating lunch. Meanwhile management DOESN'T have to do that. Management (Nayeli) has gotten to work 30 minutes LATE (bringing Starbucks to her best friend Bridgette, another supervisor), they eat WHENEVER they want, they take WAY MORE than 2 bathroom breaks. It's DISGUSTING and a total violation of human rights by ~24 year old dipsticks who absolutely abuse their power. They should be demoted immediately and treated exactly like the employees they abuse. Not fired. They don't deserve the easy way out. Demoted and overworked and abused.

Hey drivers! Receiving hours are from 6am - 10am. My appt was at 8am but I arrived around 0630 and they took me right away. Check in at door at end on left, ring doorbell. Staff was nice, let me borrow the really big bolt cutters and I was unloaded in about 40 minutes. Make sure you turn in 2nd entrance, you'll see the docks, its only a couple. Area not that big, but enough room to maneuver with a couple pull ups (for me anyway lol). No overnight parking, truck stops nearby fill up quick and aren't large enough so watch ur hours of service.

Chicai in Customer Service is terrible. Don't take an over the phone job if your voice has zero enthusiasm and you are unwilling to help anyone on the other end of the line. I've spoken to thousands of CS people in my lifetime. Bottom 10 experiences ever.

I do not recommend working here at the Alameda location. Even though the people are very nice, I only lasted 2 days due to the unhealthy work environment in the distribution center. This location is also very wasteful and the some of the paperwork you are required to sign as a new hire does not match the reality of working here.

This company only want to hired the immigrants worker and college student only. They do not hired people’s with working experiences. This just a wasting time to apply.

My wife worked two days for these people, second day she passes out due to dehydration, ON THE JOB, probably because they keep working temps at 74 degrees. Not 12 hours after she gets home from the hospital she gets a call that they are letting her go. Really!!!!!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. This place is very unprofessional, I was surprised at how I was spoken to. In the customer service department especially. When the person answered he answered with an attitude and I asked him why he spoke with that tone and he ignored it and proceeded to talk with an attitude. I then asked to speak with HR and he sent me to someone named Robin and she also sounded like she didn't want to be at work either. I was very surprised that people are allowed to talk to anyone that calls there like I was spoken to. Since this incident today I am questioning doing business with such an unprofessional company.
