This place is the most amazing place. I wish I had found it so much sooner. They gave me the pricing for bloodwork and my pet had to have a lot of teeth removed in the pricing when that was also very inexpensive and they also gave him the greatest care took care of him and showed him a lot of compassion About this place and I think if you go there, you will be quite disappointed that it took this long to find a place good

Malpractice We brought our young Labrador who was limping to Dr Archie. She took x rays. send them for review to her traveling surgeon and presented us with the only option of surgery (6000.00) for a torn ACL. We took the dog to another vet for a second option. All he needed was a course of antibiotics for an infected toe. He is perfect again.

I recently changed over to Veterinary Angels after going to my previous vet for decades.
The staff and Dr were great. I felt that we were given lots of time and care. She clearly loves animals and I feel very confident taking my other two dogs there next time they need anything. I appreciate them very much.

Nobody there is knowledgeable about exotic animals. Do not waste your time and money go anywhere else! Coraline was brought in for mouth rot and was told I had to give her extensive testing due to other circumstances and symptoms which she had zero they gave me the runaround and no solution now telling me I need another vet appointment if I want to receive the medication from my last appointment. SCAM !

Note: Be cautious of their Google reviews, as they are curated. The clinic selectively prompts customers to ONLY share their positive experiences on Google, skewing the overall perception. For a more balanced and comprehensive understanding of their patient care practices—or rather, their MISTREATMENT of patients—please consult Yelp reviews.
Writing this review is incredibly difficult for me, but it's necessary to share our distressing experience with Dr. Archie at the vet clinic. As exotic pet owners, we are painfully aware of the scarcity of specialized veterinarians, making any visit to the vet 10x more stressful. This context amplifies my disappointment and anger over the treatment my beloved SIXTEEN-year-old rabbit received under Dr. Archie's care.
My rabbit, a cherished member of our family for OVER a decade, was not eating or urinating properly, prompting our visit. From the outset, Dr. Archie's bedside manner was deeply troubling. Instead of providing a comforting presence, she scolded my rabbit as a "bad girl" and physically pressed down on her because she was "afraid" of her peeing on her (a vet AFRAID of a rabbit peeing on them is mind-boggling to me), escalating my pet's stress, evidenced by her defensive thumping. This lack of sensitivity was not only inappropriate but shocking, given our visible anxiety about our rabbit's advanced age and symptoms.
The diagnosis process was equally disheartening. Dr. Archie coldly pointed out a large mass and kidney stones on the X-rays, asking us if we could "appreciate" the abnormalities in a manner that felt both insensitive and dismissive. This approach was far from the empathetic communication we expected in such a distressing moment. Keep in mind we were in TEARS at this stage.
The discussion of treatment options only added to our dismay. Dr. Archie's recommendations were inconsistent, focusing on aggressive surgical interventions without adequately considering the significant risks for a rabbit of this age. Her inability to offer a clear, considered treatment plan left us feeling helpless and disregarded at a time when we desperately needed support and guidance.
Moreover, her insistence on surgery as the only solution, despite its considerable risks to my elderly rabbit, was deeply concerning. This rigid stance prompted us to seek opinions from TWO other veterinarians, both of whom advised against the surgery due to the high risk and potential for decreased quality of life.
Adding to our frustration, Dr. Archie never followed up with us after the appointment. There was no call to check on my rabbit's condition or to offer further support, a basic courtesy that would have meant a great deal in such a stressful time. This lack of aftercare speaks volumes about the clinic's approach to patient and client relations.
This entire ordeal with Dr. Archie has left us feeling not just disappointed but profoundly angry. The absence of empathy, poor communication, and an apparent disregard for the well-being of our pet in her final days was distressingly clear.
Pets, especially exotic pets, and MORE SO those at their most vulnerable, deserve compassionate and thoughtful care, which was starkly missing in our experience. The failure to provide this, compounded by a lack of follow-up, has been a painful reminder of the importance of advocating for our pets and seeking out veterinarians who truly understand the needs of exotic animals and their owners.
TL;DR: My experience with Dr. Archie was appalling, showcasing a stark absence of compassion and professionalism in a field where it's needed most. From a distressing lack of empathy to misguided treatment plans without regard for my elderly rabbit's well-being and a COMPLETE failure to follow up, this clinic falls drastically short of what its name, Veterinary Angels, implies. This vet was recommended to me by my sis who is a long time client. Our 10 yr old dwarf lionhead bunny started having issues rather suddenly. They see "exotic" animals here (for some reason rabbits are considered exotic) and we were able to get a same day appt, which we were grateful for. They also have a new client special - $50 off first office visit . We ended up waiting over an hour bc they were busy with another patient but the office manager did end up giving us 10% off the whole visit which was very appreciated. Dr Archie saw our old girl, did a thorough exam and gave her some pain and gas meds. But did explain that she is very very old and she didn't want to subject her to blood tests at this time. 4 days later our beloved bun did pass away. But I'm glad we took her to be checked and glad the vet was kind and compassionate and didn't try to gouge us.

Accidentally killed my pet rat by administering a medication as a shot - medication that different rat specialist told me could have been administered topically or orally - and still charged me for it. They said the payment had already gone through (because they rang me up while the vet was with my pets) but that they'd refund me the following Monday. The following week I was told that they would not be refunding me after all, because they'd given her the shot.

Our worst fear has come to us on the day of our rabbit spaying procedure. Sheleg was a healthy, mischievous albino, two years old bunny, which filled our house with magic and love together with her older sister. We are devastated to know we made the wrong choice. Sheleg was found dead in her cage on the same night of the operation.D.r. YVETTE ARCHIE Darlene Geekie take no responsibility. Check their Yelp for real ratings and reviews.
