I've dined here a number of times especially when I worked in Agoura Hills. Urbane Cafe is my favorite place for healthy eating during lunch and dinner hours. I usually order the salads, but they have a great selection of soups and sandwiches, the sandwiches made with freshly baked focaccia bread. The bread is served with all meals. Recently had the Keto Cobb Salad with chicken and it was superb served with a blue cheese dressing. Plenty of good seating here, service is timely and overall ambiance is welcoming. There is a kids cafe and a nice vegetarian menu. Highly recommend the Urbane Cafe.

REALLY good food! I could eat their bread dipped in balsamic every single day! I knocked a few stars off because when we order take out, we've had items missing and it's frustrating. The white cranberry cookie is so good! My favorite is the lemon cookie but I haven't seen it on the menu in a while.

Fresh made bread and salad were good.I love makingLemonade soda they location has carbonated plain soda ?Surprised! This is one of places hasn’t increased price yet. Saw the new Ahi Poke sandwich and had to check it out. Wow!! So delicious!! And having just the right amount of a wasabi bite to it. Served with an ample, inspired side salad with a few tangerine slices. Thought I might still be hungry (I was wrong - the sandwich was enough), so I ordered the tomato bisque as well. It was okay - not as creamy or flavorful as I expected. Probably would pass on that next time. I do love their soft drinks. A company called Batch Craft Soda, which I've not seen elsewhere. All with real cane sugar. Couldn't do it every day, but great for an occasional splurge. I had the Shirley Temple. Wonderfully sweet and pink. The other flavors currently are Doc Batch (assuming this is like Dr. Pepper) and Root Beer. Service was spectacular. Greeted on entry by the same gentleman who ended up taking and delivering my order: Jahrel S. (as per the receipt). The place was quiet - the last couple had just left. The reason for knocking off a star had nothing to do with the tomato bisque - it's solely because the place had trash all around - paper bits on the floor, straw wrapper, tables needed to be cleared and wiped. This was NOT due to Jahrel - he was the hardest working - also donning rubber gloves and making meals. There was a lady behind the counter who I only saw work with food. There was also a larger gentleman who came out of a back room after awhile and left. 15 minutes later two younger guys entered and went behind the counter just before 4pm - looking like a shift change. Zero attention from them to anything. I think Jahrel saw me take a couple pics because he came out with a mop and cleaned a floor section and removed a bowl from a table. Most of the mess was left alone, though. There wasn't a lot of activity; one takeout order was prepped. Jahrel was the only one who seemed to be attentive. When I was done he offered to take my bowl and plate, but I told him I could easily buss them myself. Nice guy! Maybe he's a manager in training. If not, he should be.

I ordered takeout from here for a girls night and everyone really enjoyed their meal, especially the fresh focaccia. I got the cilantro chicken salad while my friends got the pesto/sun dried tomato sandwich and the ahi tuna bowl. I also got a side of the focaccia bread which I just wish was a slighly more generous serving for the extra cost given how good the bread is. Would definitely come back and try more things!

Our group of mountain bikers come every week no matter where we ride. We love the food and service. The staff is particularly friendly and always so happy and cheerful.

I went to Urbane Cafe for the first time today and it was a excellent experience across the board. When I walked in I was greeted by Carlos the Manager. He was incredibly nice and very helpful. He made sure we had a nice clean table and walked us over to seat us. He checked up on us during the meal to ask us how the food was and if we needed anything else. When we were done eating, he walked over to us with free cookies for dessert. I haven't experienced that kind of customer service in a long time. It was refreshing. I would go back just to visit Carlos again. The food was delicious!!
