We decided to book the lodge for our wedding because after touring the absolutely gorgeous venue, we were certain that the people running it knew exactly what they were doing and would help make a very chaotic day, less stressful. We were not disappointed. Chef Cordelia and her staff perform with the efficiency and tact of a 5 star hotel. Additionally they have a stable of incredible vendors available to you that will check boxes for you left and right. Huge shout out to Events by Emily Kay!! The food at the lodge is so far beyond what you expect as typical wedding food, and your guests will be talking about it well after the wedding is over. Don't sleep on the tasting dinners at the venue leading up to your wedding! Do yourself a favor and book this magical venue. It will be the best decision you make for your wedding.

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at The Lodge at Malibou Lake, and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. The venue's lakeside charm and rustic elegance provided the perfect backdrop for capturing beautiful memories. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring every detail of the event was executed flawlessly. The couple and their guests were enchanted by the serene surroundings. I highly recommend The Lodge at Malibou Lake for anyone seeking a picturesque and unforgettable wedding venue. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I got married at The Lodge last month. It was everything we hoped for and more! From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The supper club was a perfect way to taste the delicious food and get a feel for the venue. The venue is gorgeous--from the ballroom and getting ready rooms to the lawn where we had our ceremony. Cordelia and all the staff promptly answered all our questions and clearly had every detail planned. On the day of, all we had to think about was enjoying the day, and my wife and I and all of our guests had a blast. We would recommend in a heartbeat to any friend or family of ours to get married at The Lodge!

This place is amazing perfect for wedding and parties specially it’s located far from city middle of mountain and lake.We had a nice wedding April 22nd , 2023, We were wondering why the music was not loud enough to give the crowd energy to dance, it was 9:45 we asked DJ and manager, they said they were not allowed to!I’m still thinking the place which is made for Weddings and parties specifically middle of mountain, no city no neighbors, Saturday night before 10:00 pm, ?Usually for dinner guests are served by individual plates or there is area for dinner so everyone can use, but what I was not expecting, they put one salad for everyone and after dinner plates, like fish which was not even cut, we had hard time to serve ourselves.

We attended a wedding here, which is a very lovely venue. It doesn't really overlook the lake except maybe the grass lawn outside, but there's a lot of trees so it's a bit obstructed. Be sure to check if the wedding ceremony is being held on the lawn and wear proper shoes. The grass was pretty high and I'm glad I wore wedges. I got a few mosquito bites during the ceremony and cocktail hour (both outdoors). The bar, reception hall, and dance floor are all inside. At night, they also enclosed the patio with curtains and turned on heat lamps as Spring has been warm days cool nights. My understanding is that food is included as a package with the venue. So there's probably not much choice on that. It was pretty good for wedding food, but was kind of standard American wedding food: beef/chicken/ salmon, green beans and salad. Luckily the meats were tender and cooked well. The cocktail hour passed bites were interesting- lamb meatballs with tatziki, shrimp quesadillas, grilled cheese. I really liked the lamb meatballBartenders and drinks were very good. Craft signature cocktails were chosen by the couple and a full premium bar was also available.

There aren't enough good things I can say about The Lodge and its staff. My wife and I were looking for a cozy, intimate venue that was a bit removed from the city, but still convenient for our guests. The Lodge ended up being the perfect fit. From the initial tour to the wedding itself, Cordelia and her team exhibited the utmost professionalism and care to ensure we had the greatest possible wedding. We had planned on having an outdoor ceremony, but heavy rain and unseasonably cold temperatures forced us to shift everything indoors. Despite this last minute pivot, the staff was able to accommodate our needs such that the festivities went off without a hitch. At no point, did we feel the change was an inferior back-up option, and that was huge for us. And special shoutout to Chef Tiffany and her team for without hyperbole, the best wedding food and cocktails we've ever tasted! All in all, we can't recommend The Lodge enough.

We were looking forward to booking this venue but the communication was difficult from the beginning. The owner replied to a previous review and I wanted to clarify incorrect information from them. we were never expecting anyone to “hard sell” us. We, in fact, chased this venue to take our deposit but they barely returned any texts or phone calls. The one scheduled phone call we had was an hour late. We scheduled the call at 4pm and didn’t have anyone reach out to us until 5. Our time was never valued with the lodge, contrary to what they might say. They replied back after the holidays with her availability and even asked us to text her if that works. We reached out multiple times via text and phone calls during their available hours and never got a response. It was very clear they didn’t want to communicate with us. We have multiple emails and texts that went unanswered.Seems like the only time they reply in a timely manner is when you leave a review.

It’s near impossible to get in touch with anyone at this venue. No calls back, emails or anything. We reached out several times ready to put down a deposit and no one ever called us back. Chef Cordelia even told us to text her and apologized for their slow responses, and even she never answered any of our texts. Waste of time.

We are so thrilled we decided to go with the Lodge! We got married there on February 3, 2023, and it was an absolutely flawless day thanks to our planner, Emily Kay, and the incredible team at the Lodge. It was the first venue we visited, and we found that every venue we visited after it, we kept comparing to the Lodge. It feels like a hidden gem in LA. We loved that the Ldoge was a turnkey venue with so many "amenities" on site. We didn't have to worry about bringing in tables, flatware, linens, etc. Also, the fact that they provide catering as well through the chef/owner Chef Cordelia, was also a huge bonus for us. We loved that we could have an outdoor ceremony and have the reception indoors, especially in February when the evenings get cool. And we also loved that the ceremony and the reception could be at the same location, which made logistics easier. The getting ready rooms for the wedding party are very cute and well-appointed. At our first visit we were worried they might be small, but we ended up having a wedding party of 14 people, and there was plenty of space for everyone.Everyone kept telling us that the food was amazing, and they were right! So often food can be an afterthought at a wedding, but that is not the case with the Lodge. It easily is the best food we've ever had at a wedding, and we had so many people coming up to us throughout the night and telling us how great the food was. Chef Cordelia was also easily able to accommodate any dietary restrictions that our guests had, even with family style service. One of the best parts of the Lodge, is the monthly supper club they host. This is when you can do your menu tasting, and you can go as many times as you want. At the supper club, it's basically a mini wedding reception, because they bring in a florist, a DJ, event planners, and a photographer, so you can have the experience of being a wedding guest at the Lodge. We had so much fun at Supper Club, we went twice, and we found our florist, Something's Blooming LA, through Supper Club as well.Leading up to our wedding, the Lodge was very easy to work with and very communicative and responsive about any questions we had. On the big day itself, everything went so smoothly, and we had no problems. All of our guests were raving about the location and how beautiful the venue was, and we are so thrilled that our friends and family enjoyed the Lodge as much as we did.We are so pleased we chose the Lodge, the venue made all of our wedding dreams come true and we have so many fond memories we will keep thinking about for years to come!We cannot recommend this venue enough!!! The location and team are incredible, and it was such a pleasure to work with them!!
