The customer service in this shop is so unfortunately terrible. I have taken my business as well as my friend's and family business elsewhere. The positive reviews for this place are obviously by the store employees friends. I'm sorry but you are in no position to look down on people who aren't 'from Agoura' It's quite funny, without 'city people' you wouldn't be in business. Get over yourselves.

I have been shopping in this store for a while now. Was visiting it for Christmas shopping over the weekend when the Whizin Center was having a Holiday Event. The ladies at the desk in this store have historically been unfriendly but this evening after purchasing a few bowls for Christmas gifts the small petite older woman was particularly rude when asked about gift wrapping. As an advisor to several customer centric retailers this recent experience would made me cringe at the poor attitude displayed here. Also as a former retailer for nearly a decade this lack of appreciation and care for the customer would eventually lead to a store shuddering. Subjecting customers to such a negative experience is disappointing. Will not be shopping here again.

The customer service in this shop was terrible. Make sure you bring cash if you need to buy anything under $10 like a card. The staff coukd not have been ruder.

This is my all time favorite gift shop. The woman that work here are super friendly and helpful. It's the funnest little gift shop. They have rare items you can't find anywhere else. I bought all my Easter decor. I also find beautiful kitchen items. If you're a decorator you can furnish every room in the house. It's amazing! Thank you Mixt fine things.

Truly a gem in the area! Love this store, I always find the cutest most unique gifts! Been coming here for years, even when I lived in LA. Truly weirded out by the comments saying the ladies that work there are rude or following people around. 1. They are absolutely not rude, stop taking everything so personal. They are just doing their job??? I never experienced any sort of rude/disrespectful behavior in this store. But I'm also always nice, so maybe that's what makes it different. 2. Following part is definitely not "following to catch you stealing", it's to make sure if you have questions they are there to answer! I always appreciate their advice and details on particular items Im interested in. Don't listen to bad reviews, do yourself a favor and check this place out for yourself. You won't regret it

The gifts in the store are beautiful and I enjoyed picking out a few items for my sister in laws birthday- the good experience ends there. The woman that checked me out today was rude and unfriendly- she made me feel uncomfortable and as if I was doing something wrong when I was simply standing there looking to pay for my purchases. She said absolutely nothing to me from the moment I put my items on the counter to when I left with my bag- I would never return. I had a better experience down the way at the Agoura Antique Mart where I bought nothing, but was treated kinder for just being a potential customer.

Enjoyed a recent visit to Agoura Hills and so glad we included a stop at Mixt. Fine Things. As the name indicates, this shop has a mixture of new merchandise and gift items, as well as unique antiques and art work. We found several gift items for family (and for ourselves). Definitely worth a visit - we'll be back!

Mixture has a collection of some of the most high quality, beautiful, unique, and creative goods including designer home furnishings, jewelry, cards, and great gifts. Kim, the owner, is a very talented designer and curator, as well as being incredibly creative, helpful, and providing amazing service. The Mixt staff are also really sweet and helpful. I highly recommend Mixt for a high quality and unique shopping experience and to impress friends with you home and gifts.

Mixt Fine Things is a treasure trove of old and new. It is my FAVORITE store to shop for myself when looking for that one-of-a-kind piece for my home or a gift for a special occasion. The variety is unsurpassed and if you need a unique card for that treasured friend, you will find it here. The ladies at the front desk are simply lovely, gracious and so willing to help you to the car with your new treasure!!

This is my favorite store in Agoura for several reasons. One being such a lovely selection of beautiful pieces in all capacities, the decor is inviting, the staff are wonderful helpful and welcoming and the owner is lovely. If your ever in Agoura you must make an appearance to this store it's fabulous you won't leave empty handed!

Mixed fine things and it's owner. Kim Duffy are the best thing to happen to Agoura and the merchandise industry. Kim has created an incredible space of creative, fun, decorative and quality pieces to fill her massive shopping space with a never-ending supply of exotic merchandise. Kim brings to her shop an expensive wealth of experience and knowledge especially from her travels to exotic places like Bali where she developed an amazing eye for culture and artistic expression. In addition, the wide variety of antique booths are well thought out and full of amazing pieces. You will never leave empty-handed as there is always something big or small for your home or any special occasion!
