My family had a great experience staying here! Our room was clean, the pool was perfect for the little ones and was well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful location. It’s right next to a Trader Joe’s,so food is easy to stock up on if that’s your preference. You probably want to pay attention to the direction you are heading (there are 3 buildings) because the desk attendant was a little turned around when we were told which way to go and it was inconvenient. Really, I think that’s the only problem we had but when you have suitcases that are too big to roll through the door from one building to another, it’s bothersome. Not worth complaining about to anyone, just mentioning it in case you don’t enjoy that kind of thing. We ran into others having the same problem. I think the VERY COMPETENT person at the desk also worked at another Hilton. It really is a great place. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed a week August 2024, In Agoura Hills. I have stayed at the Homewood Suites previously in Denver, CO and had an exceptional stay. Upon checking in the woman at desk, was not very friendly or welcoming. Our room was on 2nd floor. Room was fine, clean.
Then I started noticing the smell of Marijuana in the hallways of our floor. It was pretty bad. I know Marijuana is legal now, but I thought smoking/vaping was not allowed on property?
Also in comparison to the Homewood Suites in Denver, the one in Agoura Hills falls very short as far as the breakfast. Selections were not up to par, I got the feeling they were trying to cut back on costs or something. Also the amount of plastic waste that this place generates is off the charts as far as using disposable cutlery, plates, etc.
Location is convenient, but I don’t think I’d recommend this location.

So they gave me a room with a fridge that made way too much noise, but I did check in an hour early (thought check in was at 3 instead of 4). I was so tired that I slept through all of the refrigerator’s loud shenanigans. The best part of the stay for me was that it’s right next to a Trader Joe’s! :)

The best thing about this place is the friendly helpful staff. Really they are all top notch! The parking lot is small and tight! And the pillows should have been replaced long ago. It took 3 tries to get 2 decent pillows. I would have thought Hilton had better standards but they do not. If you like a decent pillow ya best bring your own. ..... I am editing this because the staff here and their communication really is awesome! I do believe they are in the process of rotating out the worn out pillows. I will return and I would recommend.

Parking lot is small, tight and shared with Trader Joe’s so very limited tight spaces.
Digital Key doesn’t work which sucks when your 7 months pregnant in the summer, just drove 5 hours straight, checked in on the app so we can go straight to the room which is in a separate building from the lobby, farthest corner of the building on the second floor so took forever to get to the room only for the digital key to not work. So we had to go all the way back out of the building, into the lobby building, ask for physical keys and do it all over again. Very frustrating process. Front desk guy was nice. As we were leaving the lobby, the woman behind me was complaining about her digital key not working either. I’ve been able to use it at other Hilton locations no problem.
Hallways and room did not smell clean and bed was not even made all the way. Not sure if they even changed the sheets.
Remote for the tv in the front room didn’t work at all. Remote for the bedroom TV, only some buttons worked.
We left early the next morning and cut our trip short because I needed to get out of there.

Stayed there 8 months. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and attentive.Rooms: Rooms are spacious. TV in bedroom and in living room.Nearby activities: The beach is about 10 miles away. There are brochures in the lobby, and the staff is knowledgeable about things to do.Safety: It's a key card entrance to your building and your room. Never had a problem or worry about safety.Walkability: Right across the parking lot from a Trader Joe's. The kitchen is full size. Two burner electric cooktop, full size frig, micro wave. No oven. So what you buy at TJ's can be cooked at your leisure.Breakfast is served every morning near the lobby. There are businesses, a McDonald's and a restruant near by. Some may find it a walkable distance, others would prefer to drive.Food & drinks: Coffee and tea are available in the lobby area. Full breakfast every morning.Lots of restaurant options within driving distance.
