Jay sourced the Vicoustic room treatment for my main listening/living room. He was friendly and responsive during the whole process. I couldn't be happier with the results. The acoustic treatment elevated my system to a whole new level without being visually intrusive. I plan on tackling my 2nd listening room next!

Jay is excellent and has a wonderful showroom. No hard sales or pressure, truly there to help. He has been in Agoura for decades and works hard to know his clientele. If you want to know how things work and want details of the electronics, he knows how to explain in understandable terms. If you just want to have it catered and be able to use it...he can do that for you. Very curated product lines from global manufacturers makes for optimal personalization of your desires and needs.

I cannot emphasize enough how phenomenal these guys are at their jobs. I am building a house and have had to hire all kinds of contractors, and Evolution was by far the most professional company I have used. They are extremely knowledgeable and their installations are always flawless. If you need Audio / Video / Automation work done, these are absolutely your guys!

We recently had Evolution install television and audio equipment into our home. The owner, Jay, gave us a great price and Brian and Jesse did a masterful job on installing the equipment. The installation was clean and professional. We paid a lot of money to the high end division of a big chain store four years ago and when our sound bar stopped working, we found out that they no longer supported the control system that we paid so much for only four years ago. Evolution supports not only our system but other systems as well. They are absolutely the best. Visit their facility and be prepared to have your mind completely blown by what they have there!

I have purchased a good amount of Audio equipment from Jay and his team over the years. They have high quality stuff and know the business pretty well. They stand by their sale and installs too. My tv broke shortly after it's one year warranty expired. And Jay helped me contact Sony who eventually replaced the tv at no cost! On the audio side of things, Jay has gone out of his way for me and set up some equipment demos and did lots of swaps during the session so I could figure out what sound I liked best. For example, I just listened to the Naim uniti nova and the NAD m33 back to back on the same set of speakers (triton reference). I went into the session expecting to prefer the Naim, a piece of audio equipment I've been ogling for years. But the NAD blew me away and to my ears, was far superior in the aspects of sound that I value. This saved me 2k! It was also just plain fun and I enjoyed the experience. I'll also say that Jay understands the concept of diminishing returns quite well, so he's not just slanging the most expensive stuff. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out. Purchased a NAD M33 brand new for a good price. Not much to say here since I basically called around to see who had one in stock and they did, I drove, paid, then left. It was COVID times so I didn't stick around to audition some speakers for fun like I usually do, but they have good stuff and I don't doubt the service would've been fine.

I saw a review of Evolution Audio & Video and am so glad that I hired them to update the tv set-up for my 90 year old mother. Mom had a smaller screen tv and complained that it was becoming harder to see programs due to this small size. Evolution sent techs over to scope out what we wanted and where we wanted it. They obtained the equipment suitable for the location - a large flat screen double the size of the previous television plus a DVD player. They took down the old tv which was mounted on an arm. They installed new electrical lines so the wall mounted tv had no wires dangling below. It was wonderful to have them arrive, prepare the electrical, unpack and install the hardware, vacuum up all debris and dust, and walk me through the final set up. I'm so busy and was grateful to have saved time by allowing them to do my shopping, installation and setup. It looks beautiful and is set up properly - we are really happy with their work.

Jay and his team are excellent. I was having trouble with direct tv ( what a surprise) and Jay sent his technicians over on the same day. They resolved the problem quickly. When I next have home theatre needs, evolution will be my first call.
