I've been going here for a few years now and i love this facility! My dog has had major tooth surgery there (13 extractions- older Chihuahua) and the cost was VERY REASONABLE and they did an excellent job. I've also had to take my dog for a puncture wound and they fit me in same day which seems to be unheard of these days. They also took her blood and provided same day results which is super convenient! The staff is friendly and helpful. My only "complaint" would be i wish they were open on Saturdays! :)

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Berry for years as he is very capable and has a wealth of knowledge. Solved a very bad intestinal issue for one of my dogs that no one else could. Unfortunately, it appears they have gone the way of the rest of the people out there who have decided to overcharge and gouge customers. I was billed $90 for two vaccinations for one dog. When I called I was told that they charge $45 per shot normally. I looked around and found they are twice the cost of other vets. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Dr. Capper at the animal hospital was like an angel in the guise of a veterinarian. Typically, I would go to another vet hospital, but it was overly busy, and not all veterinarians are skilled in treating guinea pigs. My guinea pig required surgery to remove cysts, and Dr. Capper employed an excellent method involving draining and then surgically removing each cyst. I was apprehensive about the procedure, as spaying guinea pigs carries significant risks. However, Dr. Capper's compassionate approach immediately put me at ease. Unlike most veterinarians who would transport a pet in a cage carrier, he tenderly held my guinea pig against his neck, catering to her preference for cuddles. His gentleness was evident from the initial examination, making a strong, positive impression. The surgery was not only successful, but Dr. Capper also expertly closed the surgical site in such a way that a follow-up visit for stitch removal was unnecessary, sparing me an additional trip. This thoughtful attention to detail underscored his exceptional care. For pet owners considering this clinic, I recommend discussing concerns or seeking clarifications over the phone or in person. Although the staff handles many pets, they prioritize clear communication and understanding of the procedures before payment. This is a significant concern for many pet parents, but rest assured, this facility provides outstanding care for their animals.

Jojo, our beloved Jack Russell Terrier, died just hours after he was prematurely discharged from Agoura Animal Hospital. The Veterinarian Michal Goldman performed a medically inappropriate procedure WITHOUT contacting the referring DVM. Jojo already had this painful procedure done back in 2018. This procedure caused tachycardia in a critically ill patient. The hospital unreasonably delayed getting Jojo’s blood test results because Michal Goldman chose not to perform any laboratory tests on-site which caused a 24-48 hr delay. The advertised “ON-SITE LABORATORY” is NOT available at Keith Berry’s Agoura Animal Hospital. The staff fraudulently concealed this critical information from us until they prematurely discharged Jojo. The hospital manager Mallory, was aware Jojo suffered from separation anxiety, yet she held Jojo hostage from us all day. Never once did she call us like she promised. The fact that the hospital was understaffed was no excuse for every licensed professional to ignore all the signs and symptoms Jojo presented. Jojo required hospitalization, the video of his discharge proves that. Hours after they wrongfully discharged Jojo, he had a massive heart attack. It was horrific, he was in so much pain!!!! We were all screaming and crying for Jojo to breathe! We immediately performed CPR for 40 minutes and failed.

Agoura Hills Animal Hospital misled us into thinking the "ON-SITE LABORATORY" was available upon our visit. They won't tell you this until after they treat your pet. For us, this misinformation created a 24 hour delay in an emergency situation for our dog. The non-operational "ON-SITE LABORATORY" is advertised on the hospital's website and the reason for our emergency visit. Michal Goldman DVM and the hospital manager waited until after our dog's exam to tell us his blood work was sent off to a third party lab. Agoura Hills Animal Hospital's veterinarian performed an unnecessary and unauthorized procedure on our senior dog. Had the veterinarian simply reviewed his medical history, she would have found that Jojo already went through this painful procedure in 2018. The veterinarian had a duty to consult with the referring DVM prior to any treatment. Just hours after Jojo was discharged he suffered a heart attack. We were forced to watch our best friend suffer and die. We screamed and cried for Jojo to breathe and we gave him CPR for 40 minutes but failed. It was horrifying, he died right here on our couch. We felt helpless and tried to save him. I've had many pets and I understand animals like humans must die, but what troubles me most, is the way Jojo was treated. Had the veterinarian stabilized my dog's condition prior to discharge and given Jojo that fighting chance I would have accepted it. I had an unbelievably great experience here. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. Most importantly, they are compassionate. The cost was very fair as well. I could not be happier with my experience there. Thank you so much to Dr. Berry and his staff.

Best Animal Hospital around. Loves the animals and truly does the most they can each day without compromising quality of care.

Although I haven't been to this vet in year's and only went once, the veterinarian I saw stood out amongst 5 others I saw for the same issue, when my former dogs eye was scratched by an acquaintance's cat. One vet (on Sepulveda Blvd. in West L.A.) recommended an expensive surgery for removal of the eye, another the same, one multiple pricey treatments and appointments, and one said there was nothing that could be done and that the eye would slowly shrink and decay. This vet simply told me to place warn chamomile tea bags compresses on the eye, or a soft cloth soaked in chamomile tea or hot water and when it's cooled to the touch as not to turn, place and hold them on her insured eye. I was not charged for this advise. I found followed the vet's advise and my i dog's eye healed enough not to have to be removed. In fact she retained that eye until the end of her life without pain or discomfort.

took my cat here to get neutered, The staff in the front desk greeted me very nicely and made sure to give me all the information before we started. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable with the process. DR. Berry was professional explainable and made me feel comfortable . This place definitely give me the feeling I'm in very good hands. It's very important to know your pets are being treated with care. Will come back with my Dog and my other cat for any future needs. Thank you DR. Berry. 100% recommended , Amazing place !

Dr. Berry is wonderful and so gifted for our dogs. Dr. Berry is a great person also! Yet, you have to go past his rude, unhelpful manager Jennifer. Every time my husband and I go in there we hope she won't be so unkind and hope she won't be so discounting to us. Extremely rude. I celebrate when she is on vacation when I come in there. Try to talk to one of Dr. Berry's other assistants so you enjoy the rest of your day.
