Zero stars my ashes were lost then miraculously found. Not even sure if the ashes are my beloved pet

If i could give 0 stars I would. My SERVICE DOG whom I had the pleasure of loving for 13 years was brought to this institution on July 1st 2023. Upon her arrival i was told that it would be about a weeks time before i recieved my animals remains. No problem. I wait the week and check in. I get a response that my love would be ready that Saturday. I get no text or phone call for pick up. I wait until the next business day, and call to get an answering machine requesting i call a cell phone number. I call, get no answer and send a text. I recieved a response that "Rhea" Who i can only assume is the owner, is out of town again and wont be back until Thursday. Thursday comes, and the owner calls me to tell me to expect her to be ready that coming Sunday. No call. No text. 7/20, 20 DAYS AFTER my baby went on her next adventure, i send another text asking about my dogs remains. I get a response that we will be able to pick her up at 9:30 am on 7/21. I get a text on 7/21 telling me "I can leave her out for you.", to which i responded "Leave her out?", I am then told that "I CAN PUT HER IN THE MAILBOX!".... What the He** is that??? Would you but nana in the mailbox??!!! None the less, I was charged full price, and waited almost a month for my baby to come home. I am questioning if I even received my animals ashes or if i got a heap of some poor strange animal I never knew. Please, if you have a choice, don't allow this institution to handle your animals final journey.

Took great care of my little girl. Showed genuine concern about her treatment and personality to make her arrangements accordingly. Very pleased

Don’t take your pet here. Owner is unprofessional and calls customers inappropriate names when she does her job wrong. Ex: “*****

Went on vacation with birds (a terrible idea, but I couldn't find anyone to watch them) a conure and a cockatiel. Sadly our conure was mauled by a dog at a house we were staying at. We needed somewhere close to take care of our beloved bird. Initially it seemed like an alright place and the "business owner" seemed so nice! We were told we would get our bird back after 3 days-ish. We told her and the worker that we wanted some of his feathers plucked and his red tag bracelet. We waited for numerous days with no calls and terrible communication via text I asked several times if she had gotten his collar and some pretty feathers. After a total of 7 days we were told that poncho and some feathers were ready to pick up. When we were returned poncho we were given his remains and a cute print of his foot and beak. But... there was one feather in the box and it was CLEARLY not from my bird. His bracelet was also charred in his ashes. Additionally she had dropped him off in a mail box so she presumably didn't have to "face the music"and look us in the eyes. She has yet to fill me in on wtf happened and why she didn't read the note that was on top of his body or remember that I told her. Regardless it is what it is and I got my animal remains but I had a horrible experience and ended up waiting much longer than expected. (I live in Colorado and had to take off extra work to extend my trip) This was the MOST unprofessional and unpleasant experience I could've imagined. Thanks for making the death of my beloved pet so much harder to deal with. I really hope you read this and feel shame, or at least put yourself in my shoes for a second. WTF!!!

I cant really write something now. It's still too hard to get over the loss of Jed. I called on a Monday and were kind enough to pick him up at the vet where he passed over the weekend. I didnt care what it cost. I just wanted him home for Christmas. Was quoted a 1 week to get him back. Was texted a few days later and I drove to go get him. I didnt ask for delivery. I dont know if it's even offered. I wanted him back. Received a nice box and a paw print that just tore me up. That was a nice touch for which I am ever grateful to get. They do care about animals. It shows. Of all the dogs I've had over the years, Jed was special to me. First time I have ever used a cremation service. Didn't know what to expect, how much it cost or anything. All I knew is I wanted him home again. They made it happen.

I called them when my dog passed away but had to leave a message. I called other numbers they had on their recorded message but no answer. They never called me back. I had to find cremation services somewhere else.

After the sudden and unexpected death of my rabbit it was such a relief to find a place like Ark. They were incredibly kind and caring and the process was very efficient but personal too. For me it was the best possible experience on a really difficult day. My sweet rabbit came back to me in a beautiful box with the tree of life etched on the lid. It was thoughtfully wrapped and also came with a paw print. I couldn’t ask for more. On top of that, when they learned I wasn’t able to come pick her up the day she was ready, they offered to deliver my rabbit to me. It’s not easy to find my house, so that was really above and beyond of them! Thank you all so much for the wonderful work you do.
