Car had urgent problem that needed fixing while traveling for work. Marcus fit me in his already busy schedule while all other shops were at least 2 weeks booked in advance. Had my car temporarily fixed and ready to go back on the road within a day so it’s good to run for a few months until I can find a proper fix, which is very much appreciated.

I had a mechanical breakdown in my Sprinter while traveling through Williams Lake. I booked a motel and started calling local diesel mechanics, only to learn that everybody was booked out more than a week. However, through the goodness of his heart, Marcus decided to work late, and fit me in to his busy service schedule. He did excellent work, and got the job done by the end of the day that I called. Helped us out with vehicle troubles at the last minute when we were passing through town on a road trip. They were able to squeeze us in the same day when every other shop in town was quoting at least a three day wait to be seen. Quick work and reasonable price, thank you again for helping us out!

Best place in town! I was in an emergency situation and it was the only place in town that would squeeze me into their full schedule. Diagnosed the problem and gave me options. Highly recommend this shop!

Using the wife’s FB account, since I don’t have one. Ordered an exhaust and other items from Lake City Perf, items arrived quickly. There was one piece missing and it was immediately shipped out to me. Didn’t have to argue or plead case, Markus reached out to me and made things right without question. Lake City guys were responsive and straight up, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Five stars in my book.

Absolutely very honest, thorough and excellent service. I took my car to Markus for a consultation before going on a long drive. He did not charge me any money even after taking my car for a test drive. I will absolutely be going here for all of my future car-maintenance needs. I would highly recommend this business.

I highly recommend this shop. They are very honest. I brought my vehicle in thinking it needed some replacement parts, but after they took a closer look it did not. They were kind and curtious and didnt charge me for just looking. Thank you!

Ordered an exhaust from Markus. Despite some shipping complications he made my order happen and left me more than satisfied. Talking to him on the phone felt like I was talking to a friend not a company. 10/10 would recommend they’re company for any parts orders to anyone. Thanks again for the excellent prices and customer service! Hard to find good people anymore.

2002 Volkswagen 1.8turboI Was on my way home from quesnel when my water pump failed.Markus was quick to help me diagnose the issue, he fit me into an extremely busy schedule. I had my full timing belt, tensioner and metal propellor kit installed in no time. I was thoroughly impressed with the work he had done. Unfortunately my unlucky spree also included my temp sensor randomly popping out and draining my coolant. Markus fixed the issue and I made it home.I am really happy to have found this mechanic shop. And with a whopping 43 5 star rating ... here’s to 44!!! ?Thank you Markus !!Lake City Automotive is a mechanic shop I will be recommending to everyone. I plan on making trips from Vancouver up there to get work done because I am so thrilled with the work they have done.

Just had a great experience with Marcus at Lake City Automotive. We were towed in today from our campground at Green Lake. We had no appointment, stuck here from out of town with our 3 small kids. He diagnosed a high pressure oil leak on our 6.0L powerstroke, had all necessary parts in stock and stayed after hours to complete the repair. Very knowledgeable and very professional. Great mechanic, very honest I never felt like I was getting a run around or trying to take advantage of me.The shop fit me in during a busy time (for witch I'm very grateful) got my truck back to me the same day!If you need a mechanic in Williams lake I highly recommend lake city automotive.
