“I’ve been going to this location for most of my fishing needs and the prices are probably the best out here compared to Canadian tire and cabelas, I went in today to get my spinning Reel spooled in with line and as I was walking out of the store one of the employees ran out to tell me that he forgot to give me a 15% promotional discount on my entire purchase when he could’ve just let me walk. The staff in the fishing department were super friendly and informative too, if you need help in the fishing department talk to Bill, he’s the man.”

“I bought a suitcase as a gift on Sunday as it was on sale; but upon opening the gift, the recipient wanted a larger suitcase. Tried to upgrade to the larger item on Wednesday, but was told sale was no longer on, but would return on Thursday. Went back today (Thursday), and still no sale. However, the manager, Sandha (apologies for spelling), honoured the same 65% discount I’d paid on the first piece and made the return and swap for me. Amazing service, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!”
“This RONA stocks a good variety of items - some you may not be able to purchase from other retailers. Aaron has assisted me with some special orders on fire rated plywood, which was extremely beneficial. My first shipment was amazing, the second, not so amazing... However, it was explained that the grading process of plywood could vary, which I quickly discovered leaves much room for interpretation. Although I was not satisfied with the second shipment, Aaron provided a reasonable discount; this was exceptional, given the fact that the vendor controls the grading, not RONA. The VIP Program is worthwhile signing up for, as you receive discounts and other perks; thought it would apply for special orders, but unfortunately it does not - still a good program though. Other associates have been helpful too, thank you.”

“I had ordered various sized enlargements for a special event through the photo centre. When I checked my photos, I realized that I had forgotten to print one enlargement and time was running out. I contacted the photo centre, really not expecting much but had the wonderful luck to be served by Raj. She promised to watch out for my online order and to print it as soon as she received it. She also said she would call as soon as it was ready. Again, I really did not expect much, but Raj followed through on everything she said she would do. She is a total credit to her department. Wonderful customer service!”
“I just called the pharmacy to ask if I had a refill of a medication; I got more information than I bargained for AND the phone call literally lasted one minute. I find this pharmacy to be very efficient and friendly! The pharmacists behind the desk are ON POINT. Yes, this place can get busy at times but I always find myself coming back here. They know their stuff and they are there for your best interests. Personally working in the medical field, I can’t ask for more.”

“Not sure what all the complaints are about - this is one of the most consistently pleasant grocery experiences I get in the Lower Mainland. It’s nothing exceptional, but I mean it’s a Walmart not a Whole Foods.Plenty of parking.Good service. Kind and helpful workers.Meat section is fresh. Vegetables and fruit are in pretty good shape. Stock is solid - they will have most of the things you need. A good one stop shop.The only downside is that the self-checkout counters are not as fast as they could be. Not all of them are open.”

There was an issue with one of my products about pricing and one of the employee named SONAM went to check that literally twice, nobody usually do that they always says to you to check that yourself and pick the correct thing but she help me to get from that.”
“I came into Walmart having a pretty bad day but as soon as I walked in a young gentleman named Kirat immediately greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed help with anything. I was instantly taken back because I'm not use to this kind of customer service, he took me to the section with the product I was looking for and I thanked him. “Used to work at the auto parts desk and got transferred to the housewares department the same week I asked what was positive and negative on a battery (Thanks Andrew). This is your standard Canadian Tire, it has lots of stuff and it's pretty clean. Since I worked here I know that most of the staff are pretty friendly and helpful; except the online orders department, they are useless. Go check it out if you're in the neighbourhood, it pretty much has anything you need.”
