Went to three other mtn bike stores in the village. For my sons helmet. Lost the screw for the visor. No one would even look at it. Sam from summit sport took the time to find a screw that fit and put it back together. You have my business for life. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks again Sam. Only one to help me out. ??

I've never written a bad review online until now for concern over others safety. Our group reserved 5 bikes to ride 3 days each but had to cancel midway through our trip and rent elsewhere when realizing the bikes here were NOT SAFE. Day one we had a rear axle bolt back out causing a wheel wobble, loose seat post twist while riding and handlebars twist because a single crown mount was cobbed onto a downhill bike. Day two we asked to have the bikes checked over thoroughly. Upon arrival when asking if the bikes were checked over and torqued, the girl helping us picked up the bike and bounced it on the ground and said "it's good." I asked her to have the bolts all torqued in front of us. On another bike, we felt the tires and they were clearly half inflated so we asked about more pressure -- we were reassured that all bikes are sent out at 25 psi -- we asked her to put a gauge on them and it read 14 psi. Got to top of the mountain and wife said brakes on her bike were lacking -- they were down to the metal. Back to shop to get brakes replaced and when we said we wanted new brakes, the mechanic had to go to another shop to buy pads with his own money because they had zero sets of new pads in the shop. Sadly we didn't cancel until our last rental day and when I requested the refund there were three girls behind the register eating popsicles and one asked if I was cancelling because I "couldn't hack the heat." When I said no it was due to all the issues we were having she looked at me and said "well that's unfortunate!" with a smirk...place clearly needs better management...Went to Evo Village Sports as a walk-in and the bikes were top notch, with excellent service and they actually cared. Wish we had rented from them the whole time.

Fab service to sort me out with an extension to my hire even when short on bikes. Thanks so much to Stacey in particular for being so helpful and frankly a delight to interact with, top babe.

Great service we had one bikes fork give out on us and the only other bike available that was my size had the brakes swapped but they fixed that. They also comped us all of the rentals for the day. All other days ran smoothly. The bikes were in good condition and had good build kits.

Summit Sport is the gold class for ski snowboard equipment rental. All of the staff there are so pleasant to deal with. Wait times were really short too. If I owned that shop I would be super proud of my staff. Toby, Nick, and the 2 guys from Gold Coast were so great to deal with really knowledgable and fast.We rented skis and snowboard with helmets and boots. I had a weird pinching feeling with my boot when trying on skis and they swapped for another pair which felt so much better, that whole process only took 5mins. Then I realised on day 1 I hated skiing and wanted to go back to snowboarding. With no fuss whatsoever they happily swapped my ski equipment for snowboard equipment with no extra charge. Had a really good time on the mountain the equipment was perfect. And I nearly forgot, they are located about 20 steps from the Whistler Gondola which is really convenient. We walked to their shop in the morning in regular shoes, put our shoes into a basket and put on our ski and snowboard boots, then walked across the other side of the brick pavement to the gondola.

Waited in line for 3 hours to get served, and then got told that the skis we had reserved weren’t there. We were then told the lockers we’d reserved are only available to the Hilton guests, but we were staying elsewhere so would have to take our own gear. Nice staff, but weren’t in any rush to serve people, and very disorganised. Not a great start to our exciting trip to Whistler!

Great experience. I needed to tighten my rear wheel spokes and the mechanic there (James) was really nice and helpful. I was worried I was going to miss a day in the bike park but he had my bike ready in no time. From now on this will be my go to shop in Whistler. Thanks James!

Very slow. We have been moved around the whole store by staff and nobody was serving us. All the techs walking around doing absolutely nothing while we are standing there. Bikes aren't serviced great either.

Absolutely disorganized place. We are almost the only customers in a shop and are waiting to start being served for 25 minutes by now, while about a dozen of technicians are fooling around doing nothing but chatting. How the place can be managed THAT bad I may only imagine

Not recommended. The rental bikes here are beat up.My wife was riding and the rear brake just gave out in the middle of a run and she crashed and hurt herself really bad.Try to rent from other shops.

I rented a downhill bike. Good staff, easy to rent, and good bike. However prices were very very expensive. You don’t have too many rental options tho for downhill bikes.

Thanks for the fast and friendly service. We reserved online the night before and had no lines or wait when we arrived. Maggie from Western Australia helped my daughter and I and we had a decent time getting ready for an a great day on the hill. Super easy returns and great location right by Whistler chair lift.

Josh and James set us up with rentals and then purchases on both a snow board and skis- wow, amazing service, great patience and a wealth of knowledge. This is the go-to spot if you're visiting Whistler and need to get fitted for rental or purchase. Shared my experience level, where I wanted to grow, and comfort level- perfect match. Thanks so much!
