This Safeway closes at 9pm . They had maybe 3 staff at 730pm .no one in the deli to help . I get it's a smaller store, but if you're open, then there should be some to assist customers in all areas . I was very disappointed
I'm traveling and staying at an Airbnb and could get what was even needed ..

Just been there for grocery shopping. My basket was not full, just yogurt, some chocolate, chips and ear drops. Employee on the check out scanned yogurt twice and chocolate 4 items instead of 3. and when I pointed to the mistake she simply removed the lines without even explaining herself or saying sorry. Left on the break right after she finished with me. I guess was embarrassed as people waiting saw the entire situation. Didn’t expect such thing to happen in west van for sure. Always check your receipt people. I am convinced it was not mistake, otherwise she would have apologized.

I wanted to share my experience at the Safeway store in Caulfield Village, specifically because of Lorena. She is incredibly sweet and always makes my sandwiches with such care and love. Lorena is the main reason I keep coming back to this store. Her warm demeanor and attention to detail truly make a difference in my day. Thank you, Lorena, for always brightening my visits!

I have been eating the custom safeway sandwiches for many many years all over the place & I have to say this Caulfeild location is definitely the best. Lorena especially is a true artist & makes it with passion every single time. I leave knowing I have an amazing sandwich every time & also leave with a smile on my face from her care & happiness. Everyone working at this safeway is so kind & awesome. Highly recommend.

Lorena is the best breakfast sandwich maker ever! We were going back to Alberta and were all bummed to leave BC. Lorena was so kind to us and made our day better. She was very sweet so thank you so much Lorena! 10/10 GIVE HER A RAISE!!!
