Although you can find many authentic Asian flavors and foods here, the overall experience can be disappointing. The two cashiers lacked manners and showed no respect for the customers, making it clear they have little understanding of proper customer service. At least when I've been to the T&T store at Metropolis, the cashiers there were much better than in this store.

I remember this location opening back in 2010 ish? Previously there wasn’t too many Asian grocery stores and we would frequent Chinatown, cross the lions gate or iron memorial (second narrows). It’s nice to have this location here on the North Shore. I don’t live on the North Shore any more. I’ve moved closer to work and I don’t miss rush hour on those bridges LOL. But I do come back from time to time to visit friends and re live some nostalgic vibes from being born and raised there.
Prices seem a touch higher at this location on certain items. I’ve always had positive experiences so far with the ingredients and live seafood. But service is a hit or miss.
Just do what I do. If you’re not happy with the way they prepare or bag your live seafood, just make the drive to Metrotown instead. It’s not like we as a customer are loosing out. 1 star loss for the workers with egos.
Here are just a few pictures of what I made at home. Don’t be afraid to explore and learn off YouTube.

I always visit T&T Osaka Supermarket, and I must say, I always had a positive experience. The supermarket offers a diverse range of products, including both local and international items, which is a huge plus. The layout of the store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. But earlier this day, we went to buy some grocery items, one of the cahiers is very rude when being asked politely. I must say it is a little bit disappointing to have this experience.

Said it was seedless grapes, clearly not. And I probably paid more for it to. Beware that packaging isn't what it seems.

Osaka Supermarket is definitely top-of-the-list for South/East Asian food and grocery shopping: all the standards of other supermarkets plus special finds.
Wide selections of produce, baked goods, hot prepared Chinese dishes at the take-away counter (*BBQ Pork, BBQ Duck & Cantonese Beef Brisket = definite personal faves*), fresh meat and seafood, dairy and frozen, huge Western and Asian snacks/sweets aisles, and even kitchen aisle featuring cooking ware and ceramic serving / table sets.
The stand-out sections include the fresh produce (*think: baby bok-choy, gai-lan, custard apples, ataulfo mangoes and more*) and bakery areas (*think: rich egg tarts & Portuguese custard tarts, mango pound cake, butter cake wrapped in pastry* ... and the list goes on) where you can find broad range of products not easily found elsewhere on the Northshore.
For me the front area of the store is The Fave: again, baked goods, and especially the Seasonal Feature Section in middle which is a colorful riot of rare imported gift - finds during Christmas & Chinese New Year - absolutely best time of the year at Osaka, for real.
Osaka Supermarket is located on 2nd level of Park Royal South in upper gallery between Hennessey and The Brick. Ample parking is available on rear/covered upper decks (with elevator between decks), as well as exterior access for shopping outside of Mall hours.
