“Came here right before they closed and got the most amazing service/help from the lady working there. She gave me dinner ideas and explained the different selections of sausages, pies, etc.Place has tonnes of options, lots of homemade foods and meats, and it's soooooo affordable for the quality.Only $20 flat for these homemade potatoes, mushroom pot pie, bacon and bratwurst sausages”
“Friendly, nice staff and good selection. I have to travel out of my way to get there but it was worth it and will go again. They had a product I'd not seen for about 20yrs. Black pudding. It tasted how I remembered. They had Cajun sausage and blackforrest ham of which I made jambalaya. I saw too they had Cornish hens. The souvlaki was very good.
Person with me got lamb burger, some sausages, and rosemary chicken. They loved it all though didn't find the spicy elk as spicy as they thought.
They do the legion meat draws. Always excellent stuff. One acquaintance won a bundle of several meat pies and gave me a turkey one. It was really good. Though there large meat pies are nice I liked the small pie variety pack.
There store is very nice but small. It gets busy and gets a bit hard to move around in. Nice to see it was busy though.”
“By far the best butcher shop in the city (and I’ve tried them all!) Amazing selection and incredible quality, but it’s the service that sets it apart the most. I’ve literally called for technical support in the middle of trying to cook things and the staff on the other end was as invested in the result as I was. Highly recommend this place…. “I have been coming to the BB for over 10 years. Anytime I am in the neighborhood I will stop in and get some treats from back home ( its a guilty pleasure ) as well as great snacks and treats from the UK they also have a great butcher counter. The pork pies and sausage rolls (I like the chicken) are amazing and I always stock up ! This is the place I always get my Christmas gammon to make in to ham every year as well. Be sure to book ahead for your turkeys and hams though as they only bring in limited amounts, However this year I did not and chanced it by turning up the day before Christmas eve looking for a gammon and was totally shocked they had one spare !! I have never had a bad experience here, LOVE this place and the team !”

“I love this place! I frequently shop there and the bone broth is the best I’ve ever had. The beef, chicken and defender(mushroom based) broth are my favourites. I’ve always found the staff to be really helpful in offering suggestions and the owner Alan is really kind and puts so much effort into the quality and variety of the great selection of meats, cheeses, frozen options, broth, etc. I did try to buy some things the other day and found that they were temporarily closed.I hope they are open again soon. Very grateful for their products and will always support !”

“Very good butcher for Korean style meats, perfect for Korean BBQ or cooking. I went here to buy some beef short ribs and they carry both marinated and unmarinated versions. I marinated mine and they turn out to be very tender when broiled in the oven.”
