In the United States we have a place called BevMo. It is essentially a Toys r Us for adults, filled with liquor. They had a great selection.

This complaint is geared for this persons LACK of customer service. After paying I just stood there waiting for this LAZY JAPANESE cashier to bag my purchase. It took here approximately 3 min. Who the HECK puts 3 large bottles in one bag with out the other 2 in smaller paper bags. Customer service sure has gone DOWN the toilet.

This is a signature store. Very big Store with many selection of all type of the alcoholic beverage. Five cashiers helps to checkout forster. Wider aisle make shopping mach easier. Last but not least, Free parking lot in front of the store is an advantage.

Just a call-out that you need to have your actual ID with you. They don’t accept a digital ID. I’m a visitor in BC and don’t carry my passport everywhere. Note that I’m a 32 Middle Eastern lady. I was denied service for not having my actual ID on me. Out of curiosity, I stayed there for the next 10 mins to see if the cashiers asked everyone for an ID. They didn’t. I understand it is the law and it’s random, like that random security check at the airport that all the Muhammads get.

The biggest liquor store I've ever seen. It has every type of liquor I've heard of and hundreds of others I've never even seen, the whole back wall (which is so deep in the store you can't even see it from the entrance) is an entire wall of coolers with dozens of types of chilled ready to drink choices.
The staff member who helped me knew exactly what I was looking for when I was shopping for myself and someone else who wanted something I'd never even heard of, she took 2 seconds to find it which I appreciated a lot.
I've been refused service for already been drinking once and I actually admire the young lady who did so for putting her foot down, . Also if you get refused service, there are 2 private liquor stores don't care as much and are open later but they're quite a lot more expensive then BCL and don't have anywhere near the variety this shop has. OH and there's a wavy line on the floor to help you navigate because again, ITS THAT BIG. My favorite bcl by far
