Was just in the store and couldn’t get a birthday present for my mom because they don’t offer gift receipts on sale items and the items can’t be exchanged. Gap companies should really reconsider their policies. They’ve lost a loyal customer.

I came in on a cold Sunday morning to return the pants I got online (can ATHLETA start carrying petite inseam lengths in store please?) and was instantly greeted by Iris. She was so friendly and helpful and didn’t give me any hassle for returning two pairs of pants. She was wonderful and the store was immaculately organized and clean!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!I am writing to express my profound disappointment and deep concern regarding a recent incident of racial discrimination that my wife experienced while shopping at the Athleta store in West Vancouver on the 4th of June, 2023. The treatment she received during her visit was not only disgraceful but also left me feeling scared in ways that are difficult to explain with words. I must emphasize that this incident has deeply shaken my trust in Athleta as a company and has had a lasting impact on me and my perception of your brand.Upon entering the store, she was immediately approached by a staff member who insisted that she leave her handbag at the cash register. Naturally, she refused this unusual request as her handbag contains valuables and personal items that cannot be replaced. This request struck me as both unnecessary and demeaning, as I have shopped at countless stores without ever being asked to relinquish my personal belongings. The fact that this request was made solely to her, a person of color, raises serious concerns about racial profiling and discrimination.To my disbelief, the staff member who had asked her to leave her handbag followed her around the store as if she were a common criminal. Her eyes remained fixed on her the entire time she was browsing the merchandise, making her feel targeted and unwelcome. Even when I (her husband and a black man) entered the store, the employee made it a point to position herself near the front door, as if guarding against a potential threat. This level of suspicion and scrutiny is not only unjust but also a clear manifestation of ignorant and racist behavior.As an upstanding and law-abiding citizen, I am appalled that Athleta employees would engage in such behavior, especially towards loyal customers like myself. It is deeply disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and mistrust based solely on the color of my skin. This incident not only undermines the principles of equality and fairness but also violates the basic tenets of customer service.I am urging immediate action on the part of Athleta management to address this issue promptly. It is imperative that you thoroughly investigate this incident, hold the responsible employees accountable, and take concrete steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. The staff at that particular location requires immediate retraining on issues of racial sensitivity and inclusivity. No customer should ever be subjected to the discrimination and mistreatment that I experienced.As a black couple, this incident cuts even deeper. It serves as a painful reminder of the systemic racism that continues to persist in our society, despite ongoing efforts for progress and equality. Athleta, as a well-known brand, has a responsibility to uphold values of diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all customers, regardless of their race or ethnicity. This incident contradicts those values entirely.In conclusion, I want to emphasize that I, along with my friends and family, will never set foot in another Athleta store again unless swift and meaningful action is taken to address this matter. It is crucial for your company to take this incident seriously, not only for the sake of those directly affected but also to maintain your reputation as a socially conscious and inclusive brand.I hope to receive a prompt and comprehensive response from Athleta, outlining the actions that will be taken to rectify this situation and prevent any future occurrences. I love their products , very good quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Unfortunately poor customer service, also I had my worse experience with one off the floor manager Noushin ,My suggestion is they must get better training to provide a good service . I will stop to shop from that store . Probably online!!

Great store. ❤️It's a B Corp so that is reflected in the price. But I like buying from stores that care about the earth and their carbon footprint.Nice clothes, good service, better pants than Lululemon.Love their Headland Hybrid pants and their Brooklyn pants.

Such amazing service, I entered with a goal in mind but wanted to see what else the location had to offer and was promptly shown other options but left with my initial choice. I was a little taken back by the price but it was the only store that had the colour I was searching for, my niece will be very happy.

I found them to be overpriced for the way items looked.... Similar in pricing to lulu or Nike but a lot worse quality. Also last time we went in two of their sales appreciates were having a personal conversation with a customer and didn't bother assisting anybody else

I bought some stuff here when visiting Vancouver. Got back to Calgary and found that there was a security tag still attached to one of my items. Sooo disappointing! No Athleta in Calgary!! Not to worry, I called the store and they arranged for me to ship them the item, remove the tag and ship it back!! Great service and easy solution!!Quality and Selection are great!!Will definitely come back when I am in Vancouver next!
