I purchased a fridge from Tim Dakin at Westcoast Appliances. Tim matched the price from other vendors, and made the purchase painless as he agreed to the sale over the phone. Even though the wrong color fridge was initially delivered, Tim corrected the mistake in good cheer. My wife and I were gratified to buy locally, and to have good service. Thank you Tim.

When you want good service go see these guys! They remembered me from 8 years ago ..... gave me a deal on a floor model ....and then the sales guys helped me load it in my truck! In and out in 30 minutes. Old school service...... 100% recommend.

I have purchased from WestCoast Appliance before. I researched washers before purchase and knew what style and features I wanted. I bought a Whirlpool and only time will how it will withstand use.

Their sales staff are helpful and knowledgeable.
Their service staff are very hard to get in contact with and not useful once you do. I had to email, text, call twice, and then call the sales department to get an answer. They charged $157. The service tech arrived, cleared an error code, and then left without addressing the actual problem which was the noise level of the washing machine. They did not talk to me before they left, ask me any questions before they left, or give me the opportunity to ask any questions. I had no way to even know what they had done or whether the issue was resolved. I was told by the person at the service department that it was their policy to not talk to customers before leaving in order to save time in their busy schedules. I'm now waiting to hear back whether they'll come back so I can get the actual issue sorted. As far as I can tell I paid them to show up, press a few buttons, and leave without a word.
Update: They came back same day to actually fix the issue. I can't give them a good review though still. They still originally charged me without fixing the issue, made no effort to communicate with me, and generally made the process very difficult. The policy of not telling people the status of the repair when they're done is really just baffling. I appreciate them coming back, and the service techs were capable once I talked to them about the issue, but the way it's set up I would never go back to WCA for service.

I inherited an old Jenair downdraft stove and West Coast Appliance Gallery was one of the few places that had a replacement. Gerrit Mol placed an order for me, and recommended that I reach out to ASAP to install when it arrived, which I did.
He also arranged for delivery and pick up of the old machine. Everything went smoothly thanks to the cooperation of all parties. A very satisfied customer.

My front-load washing machine started leaking after about seven years of use. The service technician came out twice and worked hard to fix it. He was late in arriving both days, but he also worked late on my machine, so it's easy to see why it's hard to predict time. It cost about $500 all-in (labour and parts), but now it's working great again.

Such great service from this company. I couldn't find someone to fix my in-counter stove top and went into their store looking at new ones. The saleswoman connected me with the service department and in 2 days a repairman came out and fixed it on the spot when others had told us it was not repairable. He was incredibly efficient and knowledgable! And also a nice guy! Thanks WestCoast for the great service!

Superb customer service and support in getting service on a dishwasher under a third-party extended warranty. Serai on the desk and Julian the technician were both above and beyond - conscientious, attentive and just plain nice.
Serai stayed on top of my file as we navigated ill-health delays at my end, and delays from other parties in getting required authorization, including proactively phoning me. Thank you!

Not very happy I have bought three appliances off you and referred friends to you my purchase of double wall oven has been a nightmare broke down within 3 years of my purchase I bought an extended warranty thank god after several times to get the proper part unsuccessfully they decided to replace them with new ones which I need to pay the difference which is fair then on top of all this they want me to pay to remove and install the new one I find this absurd we been without ovens going on 4 months where is the goodwill?? Thank you

We had a fantastic experience dealing with Tim at West Coast appliances. Our fridge stopped working on a Wednesday and we had the exact fridge we wanted delivered, installed and the old one taken away, by end of day Friday the same week. The delivery team were extremely friendly, careful and fast with the switch out. Overall, Tim’s communication, problem solving and helpful information really took a stressful situation and turned it into a positive experience.
