I visited the Telus store in Bay Centre, Victoria on August 23 to inquire about exchanging a phone I had purchased . Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with, NOAH, demonstrated very poor customer service skills . Despite explaining my purpose, he seemed disinterested and immediately suggested I visit the original purchase location . When I asked for clarification on the process, he repeatedly expressed uncertainty and became increasingly abrupt . I requested to speak with another staff member, but he flatly refused and said “no” . Throughout our interaction, he barely made eye contact and failed to provide helpful information . When I thanked him and asked for his name, he again responded with a curt "no" . In contrast, the representative at the Telus kiosk in the mall's basement level was extremely helpful and provided the necessary information . I was disappointed with Noah's service and hope for better experiences in the future .

Telus does ss things very well. Providing their list of existing customers to the sales team is an area they got wrong. I get sales calls most nights trying to sell me the phone I already have and the plan I have. Super annoying. Talk amongst yourselves!!!

First 1 Star review I have ever given. I worked with 2 associates. Specifically regarding 2 associates Rama S and in particular Noah S. Yesterday I went in with my wife to buy her an Apple Watch as a birthday present where we were “helped” by Rama S who seemed quite disinterested in providing information or engaging us. This directly led to us getting the wrong product.We had to come back in to return the item where we explained that we got the wrong product in large part because of the service the previous day. Offering feedback that Rama seemed like he quite frankly “did not want to be there”. This was feedback on our experience, how it lead to the product error and the resulting minor inconvenience and nothing more.What happened next was a complete surprise. Noah proceeded to tell me “no to insult his co-worker in the store”. I replied that it was simply an explanation of how it went wrong, that I did not call him names like stupid or lazy just disinterested and not knowing if he was the manager on duty, some feedback. Then he shockingly doubled down and told me “if I did not stop that he would ask me to leave.” I was completely stunned and left speechless having never been threatened like this let alone for such a minor amount of friction. While I was composing myself he re-upped his stance with a long glare and then said “are we good? Do you want to do this or what”. I am guess he was referring to the return and not fight but with his quivering lip, angry stare and threats I was not sure.We are all trying to find happiness and dealing with the public is not easy. Christmas can be challenging for us all let alone for those in retail. So I told Noah that I could see that he was upset, that I do not wish anyone to be unhappy and wished him a good day, which I meant.At this stage my poor wife had excused herself in search of another associate. I told her we should just leave and find a better day or way to deal with the issue.The severity and shock of it all was 25% shocking, 25% threatening, 25% comical, 25% insulting but 100% not how I would train my staff to deal with a situation like this. Good luck to the owners of this store and good luck to those who go in after me. Sadly I cannot recommend this Telus location.

We have been receiving repeated mail indicating that we have not paid our Telus bill and our service will be disconnected. We have phoned Telus at least 15 times to repeatedly ask which account this is for as they are insisting all accounts are up to date and there is no account information on the disconnection notices. I have insisted that a manager research this as we don’t want to have any service interrupted. They have called us back assuring us that the multiple mail disconnection notices were sent in error.Then all of a sudden our alarm system monitoring was disconnected! We originally signed on with Prices Alarms who have now been sold multiple times. Apparently this was what the disconnection notices were pertaining to. We have now called three times to Telus Home Security to enquire as to what has occurred as we were on automatic payment for more that 12 years.We could get absolutely nowhere after hours on the phone. Finally someone took the payment. Then I was transferred to at least 5 people to try to get us back on automatic payments. I got absolutely nowhere. Finally I asked if we could at least get our monitoring turned back on. After about the 7the or 8th person, who each time I had to repeat my story, and close to two hours, Telus somehow got disconnected and nobody called me back! So other than paying the one invoice, I got nowhere! I plan on changing all our services for home phone, television, internet, and alarm monitoring to a different company. Absolutely horrific service.

Wow! Amazing service! Went in just to pick the brain of somebody who knew about phones better than myself and happily ended up leaving with the perfect phone for me. Noah was incredibly helpful, listened to what my needs were and was honest about what the best phone would be, and on top of all that he worked whatever magic he could with the contract and I ended up with a tremendous deal. Thank you again for the wonderful service Noah, and I would highly recommend going to see him at Telus in the Bay Centre.

My experience at the Bay Center in Victoria has been uniformly positive, thanks entirely to Rama So. He is the perfect combination of sales rep and technician; he knows the products available and figures out what will work best for each customer. Clear that he always keeps the customer best interests in mind. Can't thank him enough.

Basically, Khushi saved my marriage! I'm on my honeymoon and hadn't been able to set up my auto deposit for my bill and the phone was going to get disconnected. Khushi worked her magic and fixed my account with patience and understanding. What a great employee with excellent communication skills and greater empathy!

Very helpfull staff facing Discrimination from management, advising a hard NO on upgrade approval.after being invited to upgrade via multiple emails. Bought SamsuAo3 outright 6months ago been paying to much for 2nd rate connection

I got a new iphone today at the Telus store in the Bay Center, downtown Victoria. James G was the young man who sold me my new phone package. His service was exceptional. He is highly competent, genuine and has a lovely manner. He went above and beyond to get the phone set up. I went to each outlet in the mall, comparing Boxing Day sales. I stopped hunting further when I met James. The other young men I spoke with were very good as well, but James has that something extra, he really is outstanding. The sales were not much different from one outlet to the other. Telus you got very lucky when you hired James, I seriously mean that, and I hope you can do what you need to do to keep him. Moira and Rama provided me with such excellent service guiding me through the process of using eSim on my iPhone 13 to be combined with my existing AT&T service. Being much older than them, I certainly appreciated the patience shown to me. Koodoo has been wonderful so far with no unexpected charges on my phone. Thank you so much! Telus on Douglas street is now my goto store for all my cellular needs!
