I purchased a pair of shoes on the SoftMoc website and had them sent to my home address. When they arrived I tried them on and found that the fit was too big. Today, (one day later) I went to return them in person at my local shop. I assumed it wouldn’t be a problem as the website states shoes can be returned within 60 days of purchase as long as they were not worn outdoors. The manager refused to issue me a refund because “ the soles appeared to be worn and dirty”. I was completely shocked because they looked spotless to me. The manager was completely unreasonable and didn’t care that the shoes were in the same condition that came directly from the website. I still don’t understand how this manager is able to fully deny a refund even after I have followed all of the return policy rules. The time frame from me receiving the shoes in the mail until now is less then 2 days. Since the policies are not being followed I will not be purchasing from SoftMoc again.

Very awkward experience.Received “hello” when walked in, and THAT IS IT.Not familiar with the shoes I asked, spending 3 mins to look for it in the system, and then 10 mins to find it in the back.I asked for another size, the guy did not check in the system and just told me “No”.Still bought the pair, checking out with the manager, still super cold attitude and weird vibe.

I normally get great service here. Walked in on July 5th at 2pm wanting some Birkenstocks. There is a young male employee doing all the work, serving multiple customers at a time, while the middle-aged female staff member seems to be doing anything to avoid the line up of customers needing assistance, leaving it all to her coworker. I get that the male was busy but this lady was doing absolutely nothing. I walked out after 15 minutes of no acknowledgement.
