The staff here are beyond useless. The deal is 2 coke products for 5.50 yet I just paid $8. These employees don’t care and refuse to help with anything. It’s a straight clown college here

This shell manager routinely allows the Saanich Police to operate traffic sting operations on their property. During rush hours, Saanich Police deploys several officers on the Shell property and issue more than 50 tickets per hour. I would never support a company that permits police to prey on the public.

On November 28 I took my elderly mom in for gas at Douglas street Victoria Using her credit card. The approval of $100 went on their card along with the gas amount. So there are two charges one the amount and the other the holding of the 100.00 (Which is still on their card on today’s date).As this was very confusing to see two charges We reached out to shell at Douglas , Shell Canada and their financial agent. They advised that this is normal practice (I personally went to another Shell gas station to use my credit card there were no holds so I was disappointed to know my parents card had the hold charged).December 4 it is on my parents card and I really have to question Shell’s standard of practice in dealing with transactions. Very disappointing for such a big corporation.

Their pumps never give you a receipt which is annoying when you purchased a car wash. Multiple times I’ve had to go inside, wait in a never ending line as the staff work at a glacier pace to get my wash code. Finally writing a review as the line today, had me going from next in the wash, to 7th… which as you know.. will take over an hour. So thanks for that, Shell.

Decided to wash my car with a tank of gas.End result - malfunctioning of the car wash in the middle of a wash cycle, half an hour of wasted time and car covered in soap for the day. Would not recommend or bring my business back.

I asked for a refund on my car wash and counter staff could not refund it back onto my credit card. Gave me cash instead. Please properly train staff on POS machines.

Annoying in the evening when not just wanting to purchase gas! You have to tell the guy in the window what you want and they always seem to grab the wrong thing .. the frustration is more towards the customer in which can be very annoying.

**update** We have been down this road before you and I. I'm not interested in any more excuses as to why you can't honor promotions or provide your customers with a decent car wash. You are well aware of the issues. Now go fix them and quit worrying about reviews!Took a 2 year break from this dump to be stuck yesterday and have to go and experience exactly why I stopped going here. Unable to honor promotions, horrible car wash, pitiful and unprofessional staff. Absolutely avoid this Shell at all costs!! I wish I could give zero stars.
