I just have to share what a lovely and unexpected experience I had as I popped in while walking the ave. I had a few questions about selling estate jewelry and Brittany was so incredibly generous with her time and knowledge. The curated selection of jewelry and other antiques in store really blew me away too. If you are in the market for vintage pieces make sure you go! Im gonna dream about the jewels in the case and hope one day I am back for one!

Delightful antique curiosities! A must see in Victoria!!! Sampsons exceeded my expectations of REAL vintage artifacts, macabre oddities, fine jewelry, diamonds and emeralds you name it… this petite shop is packed with beautiful hand picked collections!Thank you for a wonderful experience today! My friend LOVED the Lucky sterling silver grouse foot broach, absolutely ticked and surprised!!!

I am a delighted 1st-time customer of Sampsons, in Oak Bay, Victoria. My buying journey began when I bought a large tanzanite ring and spoke to Robert about sizing it down to fit much smaller for my hand, and he informed me it couldn’t be done and keep the rings integrity. He offered me a full refund of the amount I had e-transferred, but I decided to take a partial refund because I wanted to support his business after his prompt and ethical approach to me as a customer. I had my eyes on this stunning 10ct garnet, a stone I had viewed on his website. I bought it and was refunded the difference as the tanzanite cost a bit more. He promptly mailed me my purchase and it came with authentic documents and was exactly what I thought I was buying. A gorgeous-looking garnet and significant to me. I would highly recommend this business. For me and others, they are setting the standard high for quality. I will be glad to buy from them in the future and know that they sell securely and supply authentic products.

I was delighted to find this gem of a store. I came in like a hurricane as I was short of time and was helped right away. The manager was very pleasant and not pushy in any way as I debated curbing my impulse purchase (yeah I won out and bought the item which was a beautiful ring). The items in stock are unique and beautiful and I will return.

What an amazing shop filled with the most beautiful items. The shop keeper was lovely and I so enjoyed spending time looking at all the wonderful items they have for sale.A lovely new addition to Oak Bay. I will be back for some of those lovely jam pots.
