The worst service I ever had. When I entered the store with the piece that needed repair he just said I will need the whole vacuum ,he turned away went at the back. What kind of customer service is this? I will never go back there ever!

I had a fantastic experience after I called about getting some replacement parts for my mom's 1979 Electrolux vacuum. Charn encouraged me to bring in everything I had for it and anything we needed would be available off the shelf. I was incredibly happy with the friendly service and how easy it was to get the parts I needed for such an old machine. Thank you so much again Charn, we'll be back!

Never, ever have I had such a rude proprietor. I had to return a floor brush and was inquiring about vacuum bags. The owner didn't know which bags I needed so I said I would come back. At the time he was going to phone his supplier. I didn't have the time at the moment to wait, so I told him I would come back. He got mad and threw my money across the counter at me for the returned floor brush and said he didn't need my business. Not the way to treat a customer.Update:No response is needed to the proprietor's comment. It speaks for itself.

About a week ago I thought the beater bar of my vacuum, which isn't all that old, had bit the dust. Nothing wrong with the vacuum, but the roller-brush in the beater bar wasn't spinning. So I checked online for a nearby repair shop and noticed that an elderly lady had taken her beater bar to Royal Oak Vacuums for repair. According to her review, the clerk at the counter told her it was toast and insisted she buy a new one. She did. And very soon thereafter she discovered that her beater bar had a 'reset' button on it that the clerk failed to inform her about. So I checked my non-functioning beater bar and found it had a 'reset' button. I pushed it, and lo and behold it works!! In my opinion, Royal Oak Vacuums ripped off that old lady, big time. Never, ever, would I walk in there.

Took my Dyson cordless in because power head not spinning. When I picked it up,2 days later said that they could not repair it. Checked Utube and showed how to clean connections. It works! Do not recommend them

I believe that the operator of this business cheated me into purchasing a replacement power head for my Kenmore Canister vacuum cleaner. The brush stopped working; I am old and forgetful so I took it in to Royal Oak. Without even looking at it, the operator told me that it was toast, and I had to purchase a refurbished power head for about $120. Weeks later, I realized that when the issue had happened previously, all I had to do was push a reset button on the head.He made no attempt to try the reset button and I believe that he was aware of the easy fix, but chose not to even try. I can’t prove that he is dishonest, but would caution everyone about using this business because of the way I was treated, especially when I called to complain.In response to the owner’s response, I would like to point out that I was accompanied by my daughter who observed that the salesclerk did not even attempt to test the reset button, simply took the head from me, set it on the shop counter, without any inspection. That alone should have made me suspect him, but he was so insistent that it was not repairable, I trusted him. Of course I could have gone elsewhere, but he had a refurbished head on a nearby shelf, and suggested that it was an appropriate replacement.Because of my age, I always am accompanied when I shop. As I said in my review, it wasn’t until weeks later that I recalled that there was a reset button.I created my review to warn others to be very careful when dealing with this shop. I have no obvious proof of malfeasance, and only resorted to posting after the rude, aggressive response I received when I phone the shop to express my concern. He constantly interrupted my during my explanation, and was not remotely interested inaddressing the issue.
