Oak bay preschool is a real gem. Teacher Keira is so kind and wonderful with the children allowing them to develop their own interests and creativity. I also really love the coop model and being able to be involved with the school Community.

Can not recommend enough. Teacher Keira has helped our child come out of his shell and the school itself is a very supportive and welcoming environment. I love the independence it fosters while supporting learning and encouraging my child's interests.

My son LOVES going to preschool here. Not only is the space lovley, but the teacher here is as well. Keira is so kind and patient and clearly passionate about her work. A home away from home is what we were looking for and it's exactly what we got. 11/10 definitely recommend.Please check the website for dates on the next open houses or stay and plays!♡

Teacher Keira is the absolute best! My son loved his time at her preschool and learned so much! I love her philosophy, (my son models her behaviours expectations about being “kind and respectful”) and her brilliance when it comes to understanding small, developing people, was such a help navigating the preschool time. Her Music, art and care were all top notch! We’re so thankful we found Keira!

We've had a great experience at Oak Bay Preschool. Teacher Melanie is super creative and always has fun ideas for the kids. I like having a glimpse into what my kids are doing at preschool with the duty days and enjoy the community that a co-op provides. The parent education portion is interesting and useful (speakers on first aid, kindergarten, early math skills, physical literacy, parenting, etc). I also like how much time the kids spend outside.

Our son loved his time at this wonderful preschool. There is a very gentle, caring atmosphere combined with a very engaging, age appropriate curriculum with lots of outdoor playtime. It was the perfect transition into a school environment and I really appreciated the opportunity for parent involvement and community building the preschool fosters.

Our son loved his two years at Oak Bay Preschool. Teacher Melanie is fantastic and a beloved part of our sons experience. The extra commitment of a co-op wasn't always easy, but the community and connection we found was very rewarding.

Our family has enjoyed the school, the teachers , and the community.We enjoy being apart of our children's first years at school, and having a sense of what they are up to, We like that they go outside every day , rain or shine. The preschool is always engaging and fun.

We joined this preschool for its beautiful indoor and outdoor space, teaching philosophy, and flexibility. Everything has been more than we could have ever expected. The sense of community has been a surprising benefit I could have never imagined.
