Came into the store and was blown away with the service I received from Issy! I had some unique needs for work and she took such great care of me and ensured I was educated on the best product for me and made sure that the shoes fit me perfectly! Ladies and gentlemen, if you care about your body, especially your feet and the way you walk this is the go to place in Victoria, BC. Bar none, New Balance is a fantastic, high quality product. I am glad to see a relatively new company do well; all the while, having to compete with heavy weight giants. They have a 3D scanner that provides pinpoint accuracy of your feet to provide the perfect shoe. Moreover, they have different sizes for the width of your feet—that is unheard of. Anton, one of the sales personnel, is a consummate professional and it’s easy to tell he is passionate about what he does. These new shoes he helped me get feel like I am walking on clouds! Thanks Anton.

Harlo patiently considered and suggested multiple shoes that would fit well on my wide feet. Thanks for her effort, I was able to find the right shoe. I might visit again when the store has discounts for shoes.

I took my girlfriend to buy a pair of nice sneakers as a special detail, and our experience was very unpleasant, since one of the ladies who serves us treated us very despotically making us bad faces and acting like if she did not want to sell to us. We are visiting Victoria, and it was an experience Very unpleasant to shop there (we think she was the youngest) and we think her name is Issy (from the name on the receipt)

First, I'd been told New Balance "fresh foam" were a good line for feet issues. Turns out they sell slightly less expensive shoes with this branding that literally wear out in a month. This company should have more integrity and respect for their customers, full stop. Create a different brand for products that are essentially completely different, otherwise the names mean nothing.
I wanted a better pair, and the salesperson here really couldn't say much more than that paying more meant better shoes, the rest is apparently preference.
Their vaunted foot analysis apparently doesn't do much, either.
I went across the street to a running store, and they were able to go into great detail on the benefits of each design, and I bought a pair of NB "fresh foam" that was only slightly more expensive than the cheapo "fresh foam." $120 vs $145. So I had good faith in the brand, and I was ripped off.
So maybe New Balance makes good shoes (though they should use a different name for their fast fashion landfill shoes), but this store isn't going to help much.

I only wear New Balance shoes because they're the best, and they last forever. I came in to buy a new pair but despite saying clearly that I was ok, every time I turned around there was an expectant salesperson hovering there. I went around the corner to the mall where I was free to browse unpressured, and ten minutes later had my new pair of New Balance runners.
