Buyer beware. The customer is not always right!
I do not like to post negative reviews about a local business but I feel customers should be aware of this store's policy regarding the return of imperfect goods.
(A policy which is not posted obviously in the store or on the receipt).
I bought a sweater at Madison and Muse and when I took it out of the bag three days later I noticed a small hole in the back. I immediately returned it expecting an exchange.
I was told by the assistant that they do not exchange damaged goods!
When I emailed the owner the reply was: " If the customer notifies us of damage immediately upon arriving home the same day, we review our security cameras to ensure that the staff member checked the clothing at the cash desk. If she did not, we accept the exchange."
As I had not opened the bag on the day I bought it I was out of luck! Nor of course was I privy to the security footage.
I obviously will not be shopping at Madison and Muse again and I would urge customers to scrutinize their purchases extremely carefully.

We visited this women's store and it was full of a variety of stock. Ladies clothes from Sweden, Italy and Canada. leather bags, scarves, some shoes. Summer items are in and lovely lighter sweaters. My friend purchased a sheer type flowing top with pants that she will wear to a wedding. Also a casual tank in a good weight of fabric. Great table of colourful sun protection tops/shirts/shorts that can be wore around or to swim. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Just the right amount of attention. Associated store right beside to visit next.

Wonderful shop ! Amazing service, wonderful products, and great atmosphere. I always love visiting and browsing through what’s new. I appreciate the blend of both local and imported products, truly a must visit if you are in the village.

An incredible fine selection of european products. You might have good service if you buy directly from their store, but don't take the chance to order from their website. The information is not up to date and it is very difficult to get precise information once your order is sent even if you ask precise question trying to understand exactly what you will receive. They could even confirm products you didn't ask for... or you might never receive what you ordered, because they canceled it.Bad days, good days... Customers usually don't like buying suprise bags at this price.
