I really hate to leave such a low review since I haven’t had any problems at this location until recently, but on October 20th I experienced the laziest customer service i’ve ever had, and it’s left a sour taste in my mouth.
I’ve come in a few times in the past couple weeks looking for a specific product that shows in stock at this location on their website. I was told by an employee on one of my visits last week that they had just received an order and should have them out the following day, she also let me know I could order it to have put aside.
I ended up ordering a couple for pick up in store and got them the next day. The problem with this method is that I was looking for a specific variation, and this didn’t give me the ability to look at them before buying, so was not ideal
Yesterday, I checked the website again and it still showed the inventory in stock, so I went down to the store again to have a look, hoping they would be put out this time. Again, nothing was out on the shelf, so I asked an employee if they had it somewhere else and showed her the inventory on their website.
She goes “Oh yeah, those are probably on the top shelf in the back” There was a pause after that sentence as I waited for the offer to check, but instead she follows with “As you can see, i’m short so I can’t get them down”. I was pretty baffled with this response, and all I could give her was a blank stare…
“And all the ladders are missing otherwise I would use a ladder” … What???
I was pretty annoyed by this point, and the fact that I then had to ask “Well, is there someone else that can get them down…?” is even more ridiculous. She responds with,
“Oh, well actually I guess I might know where one of the ladders is” ?
It really felt like this person was just trying to come up with any excuse to not do their job.
As a 5’2” woman who works retail myself, I could never imagine using my height as an excuse to avoid helping a customer. At the very least, if you’re in a situation where you genuinely and physically can’t help, OFFER TO GET SOMEONE WHO CAN.
There’s more to this story that makes it even worse, but for the sake of keeping this from getting too lengthy, I did, in the end, finally get what I was looking for. Though it really should not have been such a complicated and absurd request.
At the end of the day, I don’t care wether or not it’s done with a smile on your face, but if you can’t at least try and do the bare minimum for your customers, you really shouldn’t work in this environment.
Also, It would be incredibly helpful and clearly avoid more issues if this location would take the time to put their stock out on the shelf instead of hoarding it in the back.

The pharmacy here is consistently the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I unfortunately brought several prescriptions here with refills, and so keep finding myself returning to get my medications. Every single time, it is a negative experience; the service is slow (they have never once filled a prescription the same day for me), but more significantly, the pharmacy staff are so incredibly rude. They discuss your private medical information loudly and with no discretion about nearby customers, they do not make eye contact, they act inconvenienced by your request for a prescription, and they do not offer helpful counseling on medications being filled. As a healthcare professional, I would actively advise patients not to go here. The rest of the store is great—no bad words for anyone, but stay away from the pharmacy!

I love this shop! The management are fantastic and their sale items are second to none. I shop here every week and find amazing deals. Highly recommend.

I got what I went in to get... so that is the good. What I did not get was a "wow" experience, or even a "we appreciate you"
experience from the two customer service people that I interacted with during my visit. I guess I benchmark these reviews based on how I am treated in other stores during my local errands and activities... just say'n in case management is listening.

Went to London drugs to get some specific items. Carl went out of his way to make sure that we could get everything. Store was clean and organised. Staff friendly and knowledgeable
. Had looked in the Tillicum London drugs but way too unorganized there.

Apple remotely set up an appointment to deal with a faulty charging cable. London Drugs said they could not help as they did not carry Apple accessories when Apple confirmed London Drugs is fully equipped. The sales manager said that in the past, similar instances have been reported where Apple sent people for tech support only to find out that London drugs were not equipped. Someone at London Drugs seems to be not transparent to Apple.
Update: Yes, Apple has resolved my issue but London Drugs has nothing to do with it. I called Apple.

Went in to attempt to get a passport photo for my newborn and was immediately greeted in a negative manner by Derek (maybe David, I forget his name) who was an older gentleman with short grey hair and glasses in the tech department. Before even asking what we were in to do, he asked the age of my baby and then when we told him the baby’s age, he told us to come back in 3 months. He proceeded to be short, negative and apathetic. He was reluctant to help us attempt to get a photo. I understand that this is not an easy task, but it was also not an unreasonable request, not to mention a necessary one as we have to travel out of the country. Regardless of whether we got the photo or no, it was an extremely negative experience. All other staff members were extremely kind and helpful, and willing to let us at least try.

Oliver in electronics was so very helpful today when I was looking for a computer monitor and adaptor for my MacBook. He gave very knowledgeable and friendly support and at no time did I feel pressured. I didn’t intend to buy today but I got just what I needed from him and am thrilled with my new toy! Thank you :)
