If I could give 6 stars, I would! From customer service, and hand-selected items tailored to you (trust Rebecca's eye it is like no other) down to the quality of the item's this place is a gem. Nestled in the heart of Oak Bay this charming store caters to all. With a wide range of options I truly believe anyone could find their "home" within Hughes. Hughes is by far my most favourite women's clothing store in Victoria. Every time I go in, I am treated like a queen! Rebecca and her super knowledgeable staff know fashion. I buy clothes for my husband and my son bought his graduation suit from them as well. My sister Zoi, took me into Hughes to Christmas shop and I was so pleasantly surprised. Coming from the mainland, it was exciting to find this little gem of a store. The selection is fabulous and is only overshadowed by the amazingly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Love love love. 5 stars all the way around.

What I have I not gotten at Hughes? I come for shoes, clothes for my wife and I- and I get laughs, hugs, support and always meet interesting people there. I love all my moments at Hughes and quite often I just pop in to say hi and have a chat. I started as a client and we became friends. Rebecca and Craig have great style, but most importantly- they are great people. Recommend Hughes to anyone who loves a classic look and sense of belonging.

Oak Bay is blessed to have not one, not two but three Hughes Clothing shops in the Village. All three shops are so beautifully run, with personal service and too much choice of lovely, high quality clothing and shoes. It is always a great pleasure to spend time in any of the three shops (as well as the new Uptown store). For a relaxing, stress-free retail experience, these are the places to go!

Rebecca is honest, warm and welcoming. Her store is local, beautiful and great quality. I was intimidated at first but felt welcome at the store. I find she is genuinely interested in finding pieces at the right price point and that fit correctly. She has clothing lines also ethically made and sustainable, even better. Thank you.
