My wife and I have bought at least a half dozen pairs of higher end shoes there over the past few years. They had always been accommodating on pricing. Today they refused to price match another authorized retailer advertising the same item for lower. The clerk went and talked to the manager and came back at said they do not price match. I guess that ends our buying relationship.

After reading the wonderful reviews, I went in to purchase some boots. The sales associate did not even acknowledge me and focused on the only other customer in store. When I asked her if the sticker meant "size 38- 41" available or "size 38, 41", she did not listen to me, assumed I was asking for a European to CA size conversion, and told me what size 38 and 41 was in CA, and brushed me off.
I could have rationalized this had there been a lot of customers. There were only 2 of us. I was not even asked once if I needed assistance and I was completely ignored

I live locally and have come to this shop over the last decade probably about 5 or 6 times in total hoping for a normal shoe purchasing interaction. Every single time the saleslady in her 50s working there is rude to me and super pushy. On not one, but two occasions, she got angry at me for trying on 3 or 4 pairs of shoes because she said if I wasn't gonna buy something right away it would be a waste of her time. It's really unfortunate because this shop has an awesome selection of comfortable shoes. I will never support this store and would not recommend it either.

A review all the way from Florida, United States! I do not normally write reviews, but this experience deemed my time. I found the product I was seeking via their online store. I actually called the store and spoke to a customer service representative, who was physically in the store!! She was so kind and confirmed they had the exact shoes. I received my new Red Wings within a respectable amount of time considering how far they had to fly…. See what I did there? I will definitely be ordering more shoes or accessories from Heart and Sole. All around excellent experience, excellent customer service, and great online store. The website is very easy to navigate. Six stars!!

Stellar staff, that were extremely enthusiastic in helping us out. At least the staff we had where very LGBTQ+ accepting.Wide variety of shoes and sizes, and great product.

Poor customer service whoever that clerk was. She was condescending and borderline ignorant. I could very well see this place closing down if they keep people of her caliber employed for any length of time.

Fantastic customer service!!! I was having problems with the fit of Birkenstocks I received as a gift several months ago. They exchanged them for a new larger pair with no questions asked. This was so much more than I expected.... THANK YOU!!

Great store - wonderful selection, friendly helpful staff and outstanding service. I bought boots that I loved, only to find a problem with the zipper on one of the boots when I got them home. I returned to exchange them but unfortunately they didn't have any more in my size. The staff did their best to offer me other choices; in the meantime, one staff (Rachel) came up with an ingenious solution to fix the zipper (using heat and some medieval-looking tongs). It worked! I was delighted.

Cute store but had a very limited selection of shoes and an even smaller size range. Staff were a little too hands off despite me asking for some guidance. Too bad, the shoes that they did have were nice!

came here for a few boots in the past, and always had a great experience intel today. was out of town for a week so I asked them to put a pair of boots on hold. was told no problem and that I could get them in a week. was phoned up today saying they had sold them anyways, and that they did not know when or even if they are reordering. I used to come here over shopping online to help support a local Victoria store unfortunately from now will most likely use other methods. all that being said still gave it 3 stars as I used to enjoy coming here and used to recommend it to others.
