I love visiting this store and what it stocks, and OCCASIONALLY i’ve made the extra splurge on something nice, but the business takes SO much of what the artists make. I was going to apply with my own art but i can’t afford to lose 50%, it lowkey feels like a facade to steal from artists instead of boosting them :-( there’s other local stores where artists get to keep 80-100% of their profits and the product is cheaper because artists don’t have to insanely increase the price to make up for money they lose.

I saw this store is selling white sage and abalone shells. This is not okay, these are items protected and sacred to indigenous people. White sage has become endangered and very hard for First Nations to aquire for religious use. I found only negative vibes here.

Highly recommend you spend some time in the Good Vibe Space. How can you not? Definitely loves up to the name. Friendly staff and some awesome products to shop. The store has everything from clothing (highlight local designers) to books. I picked up a cool little gem. See picture-
