“such a variety of awesome hand made products, and the artists get to keep 100% of their profits which i have yet to find another local store do. some even take 50% so it’s refreshing to see an establishment that actually prioritizes its artists and cares ! Will be stopping by often for unique special gifts (-:”

“This little gem of a store has so many beautiful and practical gifts for friends and family or for yourself! First time there today, to pick up my online order of 2 personalized mugs. Love them! Spread the word to check out this store for treasures. I will be back frequently. And it all goes to supporting the animals that Broken Promises continues to step up and help. ❤”

“A pretty shop on Oak Bay Avenue curating a wide survey of ceramics, wood, mixed media, jewelry and works of art by British Columbia artists. While on vacation we stopped by Side Street for a hostess gift. Jill is the sixth owner of this gallery and she provided a brief history of the gallery and we discovered we grew up in the same area in Southern Ontario. Prices suited for any budget but very competitive. We forgot to ask but we hope Side Street hosts events to showcase resident artist's works. Gift wrapping available upon request. On-street parking available andRoute 2/5/8 bus routes pass by the shop.”

“Nice gift shop in a tourist area. It is jam packed with all sorts of interesting things with Victoria printed on them. It’s clean and easily accessible from the wharf promenade. It’s a tourist trap but nicely organized and presentable. There is paid parking nearby and public washrooms in the same building.”

“Opulent, traditional, elegant and oh-so-British. The Fairmont brand of hotels is synonymous with luxury and this hotel is no exception. The store at the Fairmont is not to be missed and neither is afternoon tea.”

“This place is the best because of how accommodating their customer service was. They helped me even when they were not supposed to and that is what customer service should be like. I don’t know the names of the people who helped me but it was on July 24 at about 9:55pm.”

“You walk into a nice cozy environment, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It can get very busy whenever a cruise ship is leaving so be sure to get there early or be prepared to face the crowds. That being said the cashiers are speedy so you'll never be in line for very long.”

“Great place to buy First Nation items from native art, trinkets, beautiful hand-carved boxes, t-shirts, bags, jewelry, etc. There are also warm sweaters made by artisans in the different First Nation tribes. We purchased some coasters and lapel pins. If you are in Victoria,B.C. please support local art and indigenous artists. Their prices are fair too.”
